How much does the 2017 INFINITI Q50 cost?

Prices have softened 8.97% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 594 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2017 INFINITI Q50 a good car?

Yes — the 2017 INFINITI Q50 earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners repeatedly praise its comfort, power, and luxury feel, and they also value the extensive feature content and the way it compares with more expensive brands like BMW and Audi. In practical terms, that makes it a good fit if you want a midsize premium sedan with a sporty-luxury character and a strong equipment list. 24.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there are still some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2017 INFINITI Q50 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with praise for comfort, power, and the kind of trouble-free feel buyers want from a long-term daily driver. That said, some owners mention minor annoyances like the factory rims and the lack of a spare tire, so you should still evaluate individual cars closely. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about broad owner dissatisfaction and more about finding a well-kept example with no hidden wear or neglect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 INFINITI Q50?

At 45.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually strong. Focus your attention on overall condition, signs of past repairs, and whether the car’s equipment and wear match the mileage and asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 INFINITI Q50?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 24.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 594 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.97% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 45.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,848, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 INFINITI Q50's resale value?

The current average of $13,863 sits slightly below last year's $15,229.

That decline suggests the model has already absorbed some of its near-term depreciation, which can help future sellers if prices stabilize. A lower entry price today can also make the car easier to move later if you keep mileage reasonable and maintain it well. Strong owner satisfaction can support demand over time, especially for shoppers who value comfort, power, and features in a premium sedan.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 24.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 45.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.97% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $13,568, the 2016 costs less than the current year's $13,863 average.
• It feels more credible as a legitimate luxury sports sedan.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2017 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, owner satisfaction, and available inventory. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2016 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
