Used 2017 Honda Odyssey for Sale nearAlbuquerque, NM

How much does the 2017 Honda Odyssey cost?

Prices have softened 9.81% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,876 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2017 Honda Odyssey a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its reliable performance, safety features, and spacious interior, while also valuing the comfortable ride and everyday versatility. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a practical family hauler with a reputation for comfort and peace of mind. With 34.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2017 Honda Odyssey reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary highlights reliable performance, and drivers also describe the Odyssey as a vehicle they trust for everyday family use. That combination of reliability, safety, and comfort suggests you can expect relatively low drama from ownership if you buy a well-kept example.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is condition-related wear, so a careful inspection matters more than chasing mileage alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Honda Odyssey?

At 58.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body panels, alignment, interior wear, and signs of cosmetic or structural repair. Because this model is often used as a family vehicle, focus on overall condition and maintenance consistency rather than just the asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Honda Odyssey?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully and still find value.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,876 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.81% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 58.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $15,027, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $15,490 sits slightly below last year's $17,176.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you keep the vehicle in strong condition and maintain it well, you can help protect value against further softening. A clean history and good ownership records matter more when the broader market is already trending down.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.81% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $13,877, the 2016 costs less than the current year's $15,490 average.
• It emphasizes comfort, features, and family-friendly flexibility.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $19,473, the 2018 costs more than the current year's $15,490 average.
• It brings a redesigned, more refined package with more features and better handling.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2017 if you want a well-liked, value-conscious choice with strong owner satisfaction and a softer price than a year ago. If your budget is tighter, the 2016 is the better secondary path; if you want a newer-feeling upgrade and can spend more, the 2018 is the stronger alternative.
