Why it stands out
The 2017 Honda Civic is a standout choice in the compact car segment, widely recognized for its reliability, impressive fuel economy, and engaging driving experience. Many owners appreciate its blend of practicality with a surprisingly roomy interior and enjoyable handling dynamics, which make it suitable for daily commuting as well as longer road trips. The latest generations of the Civic, including the 2017 model, come equipped with modern technology and safety features, although some users have pointed out minor downsides, such as the lack of lumbar support and insufficient cup holders in the doors. Despite these concerns, the Civic remains an appealing and durable option, often seen as providing great value for the price, particularly in the used car market.

Great value for the money. Practical but has all the safety and phone features we wanted. I also looked at Mazda 3 and the Corolla; this is better looking. Bigger on the inside than I expected. The 2.0 liter is not very fast, but adequate with good gas mileage.
