How much does the 2017 Honda Accord cost?

Prices have softened 2.92% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,453 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2017 Honda Accord a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Honda Accord earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its smooth driving experience, great fuel economy, and stylish design, and many also value the comfortable interior. For you, that means this model fits especially well if you want a practical midsize sedan that still feels pleasant to drive every day. With 30.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2017 Honda Accord reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary repeatedly points to reliability, and it also highlights a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience. That matters if you want a used sedan you can count on for everyday commuting and family duty. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about how well each individual car has been maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Honda Accord?

At 47.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially on body panels, alignment, and signs of uneven wear that can hint at past repairs. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, because the best used Accord is the one with the cleanest history and the most consistent care.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Honda Accord?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 30.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,453 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.92% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 47.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,985, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $15,243 sits slightly below last year's $15,701.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer now, but it also suggests future sellers may face a more competitive resale environment if prices continue to ease. Even so, the Accord’s strong owner satisfaction helps support demand, which can cushion depreciation over time. If you keep the car in good condition and maintain it well, you should be in a better position when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 30.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 47.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.92% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $14,422, the 2016 costs less than the current year's $15,243 average.
• It offers improved value with some worthwhile updates over earlier versions.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $17,806, the 2018 costs more than the current year's $15,243 average.
• It brings a fresh redesign with a more modern feel and stronger driver appeal.

The bottom line: The 2017 is the best all-around pick if you want a balanced mix of price, satisfaction, and available inventory. If your priority is spending less, the 2016 is the smarter value play; if you want a newer-feeling Accord and can stretch your budget, the 2018 is the upgrade path to consider.
