Why it stands out
The 2017 Ford F-150 is a noteworthy choice in the pickup truck market, particularly due to the return of the highly anticipated Raptor model. Bursting with a new 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that produces an impressive 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque, the Raptor is engineered for both rugged off-road adventures and comfortable everyday driving. It maintains Ford's legacy of producing reliable and versatile trucks, enhanced by its aluminum body construction that reduces weight while upping its efficiency.
Moreover, the diverse range of tech features, including adaptive cruise control and a 360-degree camera, ensures that safety remains a priority while driving. Owners have consistently praised the spacious interiors and high-quality materials present, particularly in the higher trims, making the F-150 appealing for both work and leisure. Despite some concerns around pricing for premium models and minor quality issues reported in the used market, the blend of power, comfort, and cutting-edge technology makes the 2017 Ford F-150 an enduring favorite.

This truck offers a great balance of comfort, durability, and performance for the price. The interior is spacious and the ride quality is smooth even on rough roads. It has strong towing capability and the bed size makes it practical for both work and everyday use. The technology and safety features are solid for this class of truck. Overall it feels dependable and well built. I would compare it to trucks like the Ford F-150, Toyota Tundra, and Chevy Silverado. For someone looking for a reliable truck that can handle daily driving and hauling when needed, it’s definitely a good value.

Enjoying the F150 so far. Was looking for a basic truck in good condition & low mileage. Compared it to similar F150’s with more options, but decided on this basic work truck. I’m enjoying the ride and option to use it as a truck & not worry about scratches & dings.

For it being an older truck it has all the new features that a high end model would have today.

I drove a 2010 f150 with the 4.6. Great running truck, fantastic suspension. 2013 with the 6 cyl was great too. If you buy one pre 2015, before the aluminum body, watch the rockers and cab corners, they rot out. I swore i’d never own a ford after our Winstar, but All in all, the F150 is the only truck i’d own.
