Should I buy a 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.36% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2017 is a strong choice if you want a value-focused minivan with a modern baseline of standard features and a reputation for space and convenience. If you’re price-sensitive, this year looks especially worth considering because the market has softened and there are still plenty of listings to compare. If you want the best odds of a cleaner, better-documented example, be selective and prioritize condition over the lowest sticker price.
