Used 2017 Chevrolet Impala for Sale near Alabama

How much does the 2017 Chevrolet Impala cost?

Prices have softened 3.39% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 583 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2017 Chevrolet Impala a good car?

Yes — the 4.82/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its comfort, spacious interior, and stylish design, and they also call out the roomy trunk and the overall blend of performance and comfort. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a roomy full-size sedan with a polished feel and family-friendly practicality. With 25.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2017 Chevrolet Impala reliable?

Owners rate it 4.82/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also points to a car that many owners find dependable in everyday use, with comfort and usability standing out over time. That kind of repeat satisfaction matters if you want a used sedan you can count on for regular driving. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific car you choose has been well maintained and not worn down by prior damage or neglect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Chevrolet Impala?

At 47.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with past damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for bodywork, alignment, and signs of uneven wear that can hint at prior repairs. It also helps to focus on overall condition inside and out, since the best used examples will show consistent care rather than just a low price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Chevrolet Impala?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 583 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.39% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 47.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,907, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Chevrolet Impala's resale value?

The current average of $12,246 sits slightly below last year's $12,675.

That tells you the market has softened a bit, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you're planning to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you can reduce the impact of that softer trend. Strong demand for a roomy, comfortable sedan can still support value, especially when the car presents well and has a clean history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.82/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Chevrolet Impala or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 47.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.82/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 is a smart primary choice if you want a comfortable, well-liked full-size sedan and you can verify condition carefully. If you're especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2017 stands out as a balanced pick when you want strong owner satisfaction and a market that still offers some deal potential.
