I already have a 2015 Golf TSI in Platinum Gray Metallic, with a 1.8L engine. I routinely get 45 mpg/highway by setting the cruise control to one-mph below the speed limit. If I were to drive 300 miles highway (I usually drive 101 miles), I’d bet on 50+ mpg.

This small car is very nimble and has lots of power for scooting around town. The interior is spacious and well finished even the base model. The front seat are comfortable and have excellent lateral support along with adjustable lumbar support (really nice on long trips). The seat backs are electricaly adjustable which gives you the exact position needed. All in all a well thought out car with a quality finish.
