Why it stands out
The 2016 Subaru Outback is renowned for its combination of practicality and versatility, making it an ideal choice for families and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Its spacious interior can comfortably seat five passengers and accommodate up to 73.3 cubic feet of cargo when the rear seats are folded down. This functionality, combined with a standard all-wheel drive system and impressive ground clearance (8.7 inches), allows the Outback to tackle a variety of terrains and weather conditions, reinforcing its reputation as a capable and reliable vehicle.
In terms of safety, the Outback excels with a 5-star rating in most federal crash tests and the highest ratings from the IIHS, particularly when equipped with the EyeSight technology suite that includes adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking. Notable improvements in the 2016 model include a more refined infotainment system and advanced driving assistance features which enhance the overall driving experience. While some may find the lack of a turbocharger disappointing for more demanding drives, the option for a more powerful 3.6-liter engine provides an alternative for those seeking enhanced performance.

love my car so far, very smooth driving and the bluetooth is a nice feature as well as the heated seats, my model doesn’t have the sunroof which is a bummer but overall the vehicle is a beaut. very spacious for me and my dogs when we travel in the car for extended periods of time; and ample trunk space for anything we may pick up on the way.

It’s my first time getting a Subaru and an Outback. It’s the limited and it drives very nice, I’m actually very impressed with how well it feels. We have 3 kids ages 11, 9, 5 and they fit in the back just fine. I like how I still feel somewhat off the ground but yet get the car gas mileage. I’d say it compares to my Highlander we had just no 3rd row.
