Is the 2016 Nissan Versa Note a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. That kind of feedback suggests you may find a used example that fits your needs well if you prioritize value and practicality. With 22.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Nissan Versa Note reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback can reduce some of the uncertainty around ownership, but you should still focus on maintenance history and overall condition before committing.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Nissan Versa Note?

At 56.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any promising listing and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. Put a pre-purchase inspection at the top of your checklist, especially for body condition, alignment, and signs of uneven wear. Focus on the car’s overall condition rather than just the asking price, since a clean, well-kept example is likely to be the better buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Nissan Versa Note?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 22.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 236 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.14% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 56.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $6,387, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Nissan Versa Note's resale value?

The current average of $6,760 sits slightly below last year's $7,202.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also suggests future resale gains may be limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, condition and mileage will matter a lot, because well-kept examples usually hold buyer interest better than average ones. A lower purchase price today can help offset some depreciation, especially if you buy near the bottom of the range.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Nissan Versa Note or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 22.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.14% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $6,835, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $6,760 average.
• The 2015 adds SR and SL trims with more equipment and a sportier feel.

The bottom line: If you want the better value right now, the 2016 is the stronger starting point because it costs less than the 2015 on average and benefits from softer pricing. If you’re price-sensitive, compare both years closely and prioritize the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
