Used 2016 Nissan Titan for Sale near Connecticut

How much does the 2016 Nissan Titan cost?

There are 737 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2016 Nissan Titan a good car?

With a user rating of 3.25/5, the 2016 Nissan Titan looks like a mixed but worthwhile option if you value its strengths more than its compromises. The Titan’s appeal centers on its standard powerful V8, upscale feel for the class, everyday usability, off-road ability, and comfortable interior.

It also brings useful equipment such as Bluetooth phone connectivity, air conditioning, back-up cameras, the UtiliTrack-channel system, and in-bed cargo boxes, which can make it easier to live with than a bare-bones work truck. At the same time, it was held back by limited configurability, poor ride quality, and plasticky interior materials.

With 31.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Nissan Titan reliable?

The 2016 Nissan Titan has a reputation for reliability, which is one of the reasons it can make sense as a used buy. That reputation adds to its appeal if you want a full-size truck that feels a little more upscale than many rivals from the same era.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is finding a truck whose condition has been unevenly maintained or repaired after prior damage.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Nissan Titan?

At 64.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. Put extra inspection priority on the body, frame, suspension, and any signs of uneven wear, then focus on overall condition rather than just mileage or trim appearance.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Nissan Titan?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 737 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.14% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 64.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,574, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Nissan Titan's resale value?

The current average of $20,574 sits slightly below last year's $22,398.

That price movement suggests the Titan has softened in the market, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, history, and how well the truck is equipped. If you keep the truck clean and well documented, you’ll be in a stronger position when it’s time to sell.

Should I buy a 2016 Nissan Titan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 64.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.14% compared with last year.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $19,433, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $20,574 average.
• It brings a redesigned, more serious truck feel.

The bottom line: The 2016 makes sense if you want the stronger value proposition and are focused on finding a well-kept example with a clean history. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2017 is the better price-sensitive path and may be worth stretching for if you want the newer redesign.
