It was also positioned as a more premium-feeling family vehicle, with a straightforward lineup built around a 2.5-liter engine, Nissan’s Xtronic CVT transmission, and the choice of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

Even the entry-level S included a rear-view camera, while SV and above added dual-zone climate control, power driver’s seat adjustment, automatic headlights, Sirius satellite radio, and NissanConnect. Nissan Rogue SV 2016 is a great car in its class. I had a comparison between a this and a Ford Escape 2017. The only reason to choose Nissan over Ford is the interior design in the base model of Nissan is way ahead. Ford comes with a tad more powerful engine, lower mpg and interiors that are way less in the base model. However, the only feature which I do not like so far is the engine start button on Nissan. Still trying to figure all the electronics and controls as my previous vehicle was way too manual.

Starting with 2014 models, the Rogue has impressive styling, elegant interior, a nice amount of cargo space, AWD available in all trim levels, and still very good gas mileage of 26 city / 33 highway. Great competitor for Toyota RAV4 and Honda CR-V.
