Why it stands out
The 2016 Nissan Pathfinder is a family-friendly crossover SUV that balances practicality with comfort. One of its standout features is the spacious interior, which comfortably accommodates up to seven passengers, making it an attractive option for larger families. Owners appreciate the smooth driving experience and the ample cargo space, particularly when the third-row seats are folded down, expanding the storage to a generous 79.8 cubic feet. Under the hood, the reliable 3.5-liter V6 engine provides a solid 260 horsepower, supported by a continuously variable transmission for smooth acceleration. However, while the Pathfinder excels in space and comfort, it does have its limitations; the infotainment system feels outdated compared to competitors, lacking modern features such as smartphone connectivity, which could deter tech-savvy buyers. Additionally, while it performs well in crash tests, the lack of advanced safety features like forward-collision warning may affect its appeal among safety-conscious consumers. Overall, the Pathfinder stands as a sensible but somewhat conventional choice in the crowded SUV market.

This a low-priced car with a nice interior that drives smoother than expected for a bigger car and is very spacious!

Have had great luck with our previous pathfinder. Only concern is the windshield might have a bigger blind spot because of the curve of the windshield and this SV model doesn't have blind spot indicators on the mirror.

Great vehicle so far, no issues. I like the extra room over the Traverse and Acadia. It has more room in the cargo area than the Journey for sure, with the third row seat opened. I like the comfort and the driveability, it just seems smoother and more responsive. I like the power it has. So far a very nice vehicle. The steering wheel control layout makes sense and is easy to access. The navigation on the GM vehicles is a little easier to navigat through, but it may just take a little extra time to learn the Nissan layout. We were familiar with the GM system already. One small complaint, it does not have the digital speed readout. My wife got used to that on her Equinox. I liked it also, but the Pathfinder doesnt have it. Plenty of room to put it in there, but it doesnt have that feature.
