Why it stands out
The 2016 Nissan Frontier stands out for its powerful V6 engine and reliable performance, making it appealing to buyers who prioritize capability in a midsize truck. Despite its aging platform, it offers a range of configurations, including different cab styles and bed lengths, providing versatility for various needs. Reviewers appreciate the truck's overall handling and comfort in the cabin, complemented by useful technology and safety features such as a standard rear camera and Bluetooth connectivity. However, it is important to note that the Frontier's design and drivetrain are somewhat dated, leading to misplaced shortcomings against more modern competitors like the Chevrolet Colorado and Toyota Tacoma, which offer better efficiency and power. Overall, the Frontier remains a solid choice for those seeking a straightforward, dependable truck at a competitive price.

This truck is replacing a 2000 Nissan frontier that I drove for over 260,000 miles. The newer model is much roomier and it handles great. I am a fan of Nissan quality.

Its got a powerful V-6 engine, and nice amenities inside the truck. The 2nd row of seats are a nice addition. Backwards camera, and Bluetooth are included in the SV model we looked at. The 5ft bed isnt bad, but limits how much stuff you can haul.

This is a truck. The V6 has plenty of power. The 4wd is capable and inspires confidence. The electrical/electronic items it does have are useful without being over-the-top. You still have to drive this vehicle, which is half the fun. The seats are comfortable though Nissan needs to do something to reinforce the seats on their door sides. I have seen many of them that wear and eventually rip where the driver slides in and out over the back corner of the seat. I feel like I get Japanese quality at an American-made price in this truck.

These trucks are very reliable and dont usually have many problems. When they do have problems it doesnt cost a fortune fix them.
