How much does the 2016 Nissan 370Z cost?

Is the 2016 Nissan 370Z a good car?

Yes — 4.8/5 is a strong user rating for this model year. Owners consistently praise the thrilling driving experience, nimble handling, and strong performance, and many also like that it can still work as a fun daily driver. That fits the 370Z’s purpose well if you want a compact, driver-focused sports car with a tight cockpit and an emphasis on driving enjoyment over gadgetry. With 21.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Nissan 370Z reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary also points to a reputation for reliability, and the model’s appeal is reinforced by owners who value its dependable, trouble-free character and long-term enjoyment. For used buyers, that suggests the bigger ownership risk is less about the car’s basic durability and more about finding one that has been cared for properly over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Nissan 370Z?

At 51.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage or repeated claims. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has been modified or driven hard. Focus on overall condition, signs of wear, and whether the car still feels tight and well maintained, since that matters more than mileage alone on a sports car like this.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Nissan 370Z?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly when you find a strong example.

• Deal availability: 21.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 160 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.18% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 51.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,135, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Nissan 370Z's resale value?

The current average of $20,472 sits slightly below last year's $20,929.

That decline suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that pricing discipline matters: a well-kept example should still attract interest, but overpricing could slow your sale in a market that has softened. Strong condition and a clean history will matter even more if you want to protect value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Nissan 370Z or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 21.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 51.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.18% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

If you want the 370Z’s core formula — a compact, engaging sports car with strong owner satisfaction — the 2016 is a solid place to focus. It makes the most sense if you value driving enjoyment and can verify condition carefully. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also use the softer market to compare nearby years and choose the cleanest, best-priced example rather than locking onto one specific model year too quickly.
