Used 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE for Sale nearLakeland, FL

How much does the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Prices have softened 10.78% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 811 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

Yes — the 4.9/5 user rating points to very strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the luxury, comfort, style, high-quality fit and finish, and smooth handling, while also appreciating the updated features in an older model. For you, that means this GLE fits especially well if you want a premium SUV with a practical, family-focused mission and a broad mix of comfort and technology. With 34.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a reliable, trouble-free ownership experience overall, with buyers describing it as a dependable and safe choice. That said, you should still expect some long-term ownership risk from used examples, especially if maintenance history is incomplete or if expensive repairs were deferred.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

At 62.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage or repeated claims. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to electrical systems and the air suspension. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and how well the luxury features and ride components have been cared for, since those areas can have the biggest impact on ownership costs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

• Deal availability: 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 811 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.78% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 62.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,215, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $16,215 sits slightly below last year's $18,174.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. If you plan to sell later, the softer current pricing means your future resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history. Well-kept examples should hold up better than neglected ones, especially in a luxury SUV segment where buyers pay close attention to care and presentation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.78% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of value, comfort, and owner satisfaction, the 2016 is a strong place to start. You should lean toward this year if you find a clean, well-documented example at a competitive price. If you are especially price-sensitive, keep comparing nearby model years and focus on the best-maintained listing rather than the cheapest one.
