Used 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA for Sale nearJersey City, NJ

How much does the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA cost?

Prices have softened 14.77% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 449 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA a good car?

Yes — the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview describes it as a small luxury crossover with premium-brand appeal, a compact footprint, and a choice between the GLA 250 and the more powerful GLA 45 AMG. It also highlights useful updates for the year, including a standard 7-inch infotainment screen, keyless ignition, dual-zone climate control, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

For you, that means the GLA makes the most sense if you want a stylish, premium-feeling crossover that stays small and easy to place in traffic or parking. The tradeoff is practicality, since the cabin is relatively small and cargo space is limited compared with larger crossovers. There are 31.2% of listings priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The overview suggests the GLA’s appeal comes from its premium feel, compact size, and available all-wheel drive, while also noting that it was built on the CLA platform and offered in both everyday and higher-performance forms. That combination points to a vehicle designed more around style and driving character than rugged utility.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a small luxury crossover can be less forgiving if prior maintenance was skipped, especially when you’re shopping a model with a premium drivetrain and compact packaging.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA?

At 60.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. Put a pre-purchase inspection at the top of your checklist, with extra attention to body alignment, panel gaps, and signs of uneven wear. Because the GLA is a compact luxury crossover, condition matters a lot: focus on how well the interior, electronics, and drivetrain have been maintained.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and deal activity to reward careful shopping.

• Deal availability: 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 449 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.77% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 60.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,997, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA's resale value?

The current average of $11,997 sits slightly below last year's $14,076.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. If you keep the car clean, documented, and accident-free, you’ll be in a better position when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• At 60.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.77% compared with last year.
