Used 2016 Lexus NX for Sale nearJersey City, NJ

How much does the 2016 Lexus NX cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 647 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2016 Lexus NX a good car?

Generally — the 2016 Lexus NX earns a 4.1/5 user rating, which points to broad owner satisfaction. Owners most often praise its comfortable cabin, timeless look, and good fuel economy, and the NX’s use-case appeal is strongest if you want a compact luxury crossover that feels distinctive and efficient. The main trade-offs are that some shoppers find it small and note a noisy ride, so it fits you best if style, comfort, and efficiency matter more than maximum space or driving excitement. With 31.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Lexus NX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.1/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to reliability as one of the NX’s biggest strengths, alongside dependable day-to-day use and good fuel economy. That combination suggests you’re looking at a model that many owners feel comfortable counting on over time. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about how well a specific example has been maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Lexus NX?

At 56.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection on any listing that looks especially appealing. Focus on body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the cabin and ride quality match the seller’s description. If a car has a clean history and checks out mechanically, it’s the kind of used luxury crossover that can make sense for you.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Lexus NX?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 647 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 56.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,861, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $18,514 sits slightly below last year's $18,614.

That small decline suggests the NX has been holding value fairly steadily rather than swinging sharply up or down. For you as a future seller, that kind of price stability can make ownership costs easier to predict. It also means a well-kept example should remain reasonably marketable if you decide to sell later.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.1/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.1/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $17,424, the 2015 costs less than the current year's $18,514 average.
• It emphasizes distinctive styling and practical efficiency.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2016 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, availability, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2015 is the better value-focused alternative, especially if its lower average price matters more than the newer-year market position.
