About 2016 INFINITI QX60
Overview
Luxury can mean different things to different people. The old definition usually involved lots of interior space and leather appointments. These days, it means the latest high-tech entertainment and safety features, and the ability to drive smoothly over just about any surface. With the 2016 Infiniti QX60, however, you can have both the old and new "luxury" attributes in one fetching 7-passenger midsize luxury SUV.
The QX60 is a relative newcomer to the luxury world, and, along with the Q50 sedan, it represents the first two models that began their life cycle with Infiniti’s new nomenclature: all Infiniti sedans now all start with Q, followed by a number, and all crossovers and SUVs start with QX, also followed by a number. As such, the QX60 slots between the QX50 crossover wagon and QX70 performance SUV. Its packaging and position in the lineup give it the feel of a really upscale, really sporty minivan, comparable to the likes of the Audi Q7 and Volvo XC90.
The QX60 rides on the same platform as the Nissan Pathfinder, but the Infiniti takes styling, luxury, and technology to new heights. Like other models in the Infiniti lineup, the QX60 features a flowing, elegant aesthetic. The beamy front grille is framed by two sharply raked headlights, and from there a flowing character line runs all the way back to the fluid taillights. The swooping design to the rear window pillars breaks up the upper part of the vehicle and gives the QX60 a sense of speed and motion even when at rest.
The 2016 QX60 sports some several subtle yet meaningful changes. Visually, there are some minor tweaks to the front fascia. Less chrome results in a cleaner overall look. And out back, an added rear bumper diffuser gives the QX60 a racier appearance. There are also now additional alloy wheel options from which to chose.
The QX60's flowing aesthetic continues into its cabin, where the driver will find a design that's reminiscent of a sports car but still delivers premium appointments and ample leg, head, and shoulder room to all seven passengers.
The center console features both hard-button toggles and a comprehensive touchscreen system; drivers can use either interface to access the various infotainment components and driver's settings. Some of the option packages include updated interior materials, and a triple-zone climate control system is now available. A Theater Package adds seat-back monitors with a remote and headphones to keep the little ones occupied on long trips, while the Maple Accents Package provides an upscale interior wood-inlay look that adds to the QX60's luxury feel.
The 2016 QX60 is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 sending 265 hp and 248 lb-ft of torque through a continuously variable transmission. Front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) are both available. EPA fuel economy estimates for the 2016 QX60 have not yet been announced, but seeing as the drivetrain is carried over from 2015, it should achieve fuel numbers of 21 mpg city/27 highway with FWD and 19/26 with AWD.
A hybrid QX60 is also available, featuring a 2.5-liter inline four paired to an electric motor and lithium-ion battery pack. The hybrid returns fuel economy of 25/28.
Mechanically, the 2016 QX60 now features liquid-cooled active engine mounts, a new suspension system, and a revised steering system, all geared towards a smoother ride in all conditions.
The QX60 is also available with the latest high-tech safety equipment, including forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection (the first time Infiniti has offered this technology). It is also available with predictive forward collision warning, which can tell if you're in danger of colliding with the car in front of you, or even if the two cars ahead of you are about to get in a fender-bender, giving you an extra split-second of braking time.
Pricing on the 2016 Infiniti QX60 has not yet been announced, but should remain about the same as on the 2015 model. That means a base price of around $43,000, with an additional $1,400 or so tacked on for AWD. The hybrid will start closer to $50,000.
From its intelligent AWD to its opulent seating, the Infiniti QX60 is the ideal upscale family vehicle, no matter the conditions or the terrain. You’ll most likely take it out as a daily driver or an attractive family hauler, but it's nice to know that if the road is hazardous, the QX60 has the AWD and collision avoidance technology to keep you safe.

The features look great, it has opening roofs front and back and its a very nice looking car I like the shiny black color and everything looks new outside. Inside the car is very clean and comfortable, and runs smoothly. The price was a little bit higher because it has higher miles. The value is $15000- $17000
