Used 2016 Chevrolet Impala for Sale nearFayetteville, NC

How much does the 2016 Chevrolet Impala cost?

Prices have softened 2.94% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 563 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable range of options to compare.

Is the 2016 Chevrolet Impala a good car?

The 2016 Chevrolet Impala stands out as a big, comfortable American sedan that emphasizes space, ride quality, and easy-to-use technology. It offers a cavernous interior, an expansive rear seat, great visibility, and an 18.8-cubic-foot trunk, making it especially appealing if you want a roomy family car without paying luxury-car money.

The cabin also feels more upscale than its price tag suggests thanks to soft-touch materials, while MyLink infotainment, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, USB inputs, and available navigation give it a modern, user-friendly feel. With 31.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some attractive value opportunities.

Is the 2016 Chevrolet Impala reliable?

The 2016 Chevrolet Impala is presented as a comfortable, straightforward sedan with a strong value proposition and a refined feel. Its appeal comes from the combination of roomy packaging, smooth ride quality, and easy-to-use technology rather than from complexity.

For used buyers, long-term ownership risk is best managed by focusing on maintenance history and overall condition, since a large sedan with available tech and safety equipment can become costly if prior care was inconsistent.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Chevrolet Impala?

At 50.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks bodywork, alignment, and signs of prior repair. Focus on overall condition and documentation, especially if you’re comparing similarly priced cars with different accident histories.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Chevrolet Impala?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 563 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.94% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 50.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,919, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Chevrolet Impala's resale value?

The current average of $11,056 sits slightly below last year's $11,391.

That suggests the market has eased, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you’re a future seller, condition and mileage will matter even more because the broader price trend is already working against appreciation.

Should I buy a 2016 Chevrolet Impala or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 50.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.94% compared with last year.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $10,396, the 2015 costs less than the current year's $11,056 average.
• It remains a worthy full-size sedan with predictable, consistent road manners.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2016 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and deal availability. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2015 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one with clean history and solid maintenance records.
