You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. What is the 2016 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $11,191 sits slightly below last year's $12,525.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. Well-kept examples should stand out more clearly if the broader market stays soft.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.65% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2016 is a strong choice if you want the Q5’s premium feel, solid owner satisfaction, and a softer used-market price.
