Why it stands out
The 2016 Acura MDX stands out in the luxury SUV market with its combination of safety, performance, and refined comfort. Sporting a robust 3.5-liter V6 engine, it generates an impressive 290 horsepower, delivering a satisfying driving experience. Owners appreciate its spacious interior, which is a strong selling point for families, as well as its effective safety features, including the AcuraWatch Plus package that brings adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking. Notably, the MDX also commands high safety ratings, earning 5-star crash-test ratings across the board. However, some drivers have expressed concerns regarding the new 9-speed automatic transmission and its impact on drivability. While the vehicle remains a good choice overall, potential buyers should weigh these experiences against its reputation for quality and durability.

I chose this specific trim (Elite model) for comfort and well… the wide screen entertainment system for my younger kids. For a 8 year old car it drives amazingly. I have driven Hondas, Toyotas Fords but this might be the best I have owned.
