How much does the 2015 Toyota Corolla cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 1,675 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2015 Toyota Corolla a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the expert rating is 6.17/10. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 10/10.

The Corolla is presented as a dependable, sensible compact car that still tries to make everyday driving a little more enjoyable. It is also described as stylish, which gives it a bit more personality than a purely utilitarian commuter.

The market shows 27.9% of listings as good or great deals, so you have some room to shop selectively while still finding value.

Is the 2015 Toyota Corolla reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Corolla is described as reliable and dependable over time, with a refined and quiet 1.8-liter engine that supports everyday use. It is also expected to be cheap to own, and it includes free scheduled maintenance for the first 2 years or 25,000 miles of ownership.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a neglected example could erase some of the Corolla’s ownership-cost advantage, so service history matters.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Toyota Corolla?

At 46.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has had bodywork or multiple owners. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and whether the equipment on the car matches the trim you expect.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes the basic L, the popular LE, the thrifty LE Eco and the sporty S. All versions include LED headlights, air conditioning, power windows, locks and mirrors, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a height-adjustable driver’s seat and Bluetooth connectivity with a USB 2.0 port. The LE adds a reversing camera, automatic climate control, cruise control, remote keyless entry and a 6-speaker sound system with a 6-inch touchscreen display. The S adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters, a Sport driving mode and revised dashboard trim.
• Powertrain: A 1.8-liter 4-cylinder powers all versions, and it makes 132 hp in all but the LE Eco trim. The engine is refined and quiet, and the LE Eco is tuned for better fuel economy with 140 hp.
• Safety package: Toyota does not offer blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, active cruise control with forward-collision warning or automatic braking. A reversing camera is included for the LE trim level and above.
• Infotainment: The Corolla offers Bluetooth connectivity as standard equipment for all models. To get Toyota’s Entune App Suite infotainment system, the Corolla LE with the Plus Package is the minimum requirement. The system uses a 6.1-inch touchscreen, and the navigation display is small.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA estimates for the Corolla S test car were 28 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway, and the test car averaged 29.8 mpg in mixed driving.

Which 2015 Toyota Corolla trim should I buy?

The 2015 Toyota Corolla is offered in 4 trim levels: L, LE, LE Eco and S.

Here's the short version:

• L: This is the simplest way into the Corolla, and it gives you the core equipment without the added convenience features found higher up. It makes sense if you want the lowest-frills version and plan to keep your budget tight.
• LE: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the reversing camera, automatic climate control, cruise control, remote keyless entry and the 6-speaker sound system with the 6-inch touchscreen display. If you want the most useful everyday upgrades without stretching too far, this is the one to target.
• LE Eco: Choose this if fuel economy matters most and you want the retuned engine setup that makes 140 hp while improving efficiency. It keeps the LE-style equipment and adds a more efficiency-focused character.
• S: Pick this if you want the sportier look and feel, including the leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters, Sport driving mode, revised dashboard trim and available manual transmission. It is the right choice if you care more about personality than pure practicality.

The reversing camera is included for the LE trim level and above, so the LE is the first trim that meaningfully improves everyday convenience and safety.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Toyota Corolla?

The market looks moderate and selective, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,675 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 46.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,386, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Toyota Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $11,913 sits slightly above last year's $11,805.

That small increase suggests the Corolla has held its value well rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For a future seller, that kind of stability is helpful because it points to steady buyer interest and a predictable pricing environment.

The Corolla’s strong cost-effectiveness and reputation for dependable ownership also support long-term demand. If you keep the car in good condition and maintain it properly, you should be in a decent position when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Toyota Corolla safe?

The 2015 Corolla earns five-star ratings from NHTSA overall.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota does not offer any newfangled active safety systems in the Corolla. There is no blind-spot monitoring system, no lane-departure warning system, no rear cross-traffic alert system, no active cruise control system with forward-collision warning and no automatic braking function. A reversing camera is about as sophisticated as it gets, and that's included for the LE trim level and above.

The main caveat is that the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety had not officially rated the 2015 Corolla at the time of the review, though the closely related 2014 Corolla received a Good rating in most tests and a Marginal result in the small overlap frontal-impact test.

Should I buy a 2015 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 46.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines dependable daily driving with a stylish, practical package.

Consider the 2014 if:

• At $11,020, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $11,913 average.
• It starts the eleventh generation with efficient, dependable commuting focus.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $12,886, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $11,913 average.
• It emphasizes fuel economy and value in a more competitive small-car market.

The bottom line: The 2015 is the right pick if you want a stable-priced Corolla with strong owner satisfaction and a practical feature set. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2014 is the better value play; if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling market position, the 2016 is worth a look.
