How much does the 2015 Toyota Corolla cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 1,741 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2015 Toyota Corolla a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Toyota Corolla earns 5/5 from users and 6.17/10 from experts. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 10/10.

The Corolla is presented as a dependable, sensible compact car that still tries to make everyday driving a little more enjoyable. It is also described as stylish, with a broader appeal than pure transportation alone, though it does not aim to be especially surprising or emotionally engaging.

The market shows 30.1% good or great deals, so you still have room to shop carefully.

Is the 2015 Toyota Corolla reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Corolla is described as reliable and dependable over time, with a refined and quiet 1.8-liter engine that delivers good gas mileage. It is also expected to be cheap to own, and it includes free scheduled maintenance for the first 2 years or 25,000 miles of ownership.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure prior wear, maintenance history, and accident history line up with the car’s otherwise strong ownership reputation.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Toyota Corolla?

At 45.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has higher mileage or incomplete service records. Focus on overall condition, signs of prior bodywork, and whether the equipment level matches what you expect from the trim.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base L is the most stripped-down version, while the LE adds more everyday convenience and the S brings a sportier look and feel. The LE also gets features like automatic climate control, cruise control, remote keyless entry, and a touchscreen with a reversing camera, while the S adds unique styling touches and sportier cabin details.
• Powertrain: All versions use a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine, and the LE Eco gets 8 extra horsepower for a total of 140 while improving fuel economy. The engine is refined and quiet, but acceleration is modest.
• Safety package: A reversing camera is included for the LE trim level and above. The car does not offer blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, active cruise control with forward-collision warning, or automatic braking.
• Infotainment: Bluetooth is standard, and the LE with the Plus Package is the minimum requirement for Toyota’s Entune App Suite. The system uses a 6.1-inch touchscreen, and the setup includes actual volume and tuning knobs.
• Fuel efficiency: The Corolla is described as fuel efficient, and the test car returned 28 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway. The LE Eco is also noted for better fuel economy.

Which 2015 Toyota Corolla trim should I buy?

The 2015 Toyota Corolla is offered in 4 trim levels: L, LE, LE Eco, and S.

Here's the short version:

• L: This is the simplest choice, and it gives you the Corolla’s core strengths without extra frills. It suits you if you want the lowest-cost path into the model and care most about basic, dependable transportation.
• LE: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the most useful everyday upgrades, including automatic climate control, cruise control, remote keyless entry, and a reversing camera. If you want the most balanced mix of comfort and convenience, this is the trim to target.
• LE Eco: Choose this if fuel economy matters more to you than extra features. It adds a retuned engine with 140 horsepower and is tuned for better efficiency.
• S: Pick this if you want the sportier look and feel, including unique styling touches, sportier front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, paddle shifters, and a Sport driving mode.

A reversing camera is included for the LE trim level and above.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Toyota Corolla?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,741 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 45.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,383, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Toyota Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $11,802 sits slightly below last year's $11,817.

That small decline suggests the Corolla has held its value fairly well rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For you as a future seller, that kind of stability can make pricing easier because the market is not showing signs of dramatic weakness.

The Corolla’s strong cost-effectiveness and reputation for dependable ownership should help keep buyer interest steady. If you maintain it well and keep records, you should be in a better position to protect resale value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Toyota Corolla safe?

The 2015 Corolla earns five-star ratings from NHTSA.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota’s safety setup is basic for the class: there is no blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, active cruise control with forward-collision warning, or automatic braking. A reversing camera is included for the LE trim level and above.

The source also notes that the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety had not officially rated the 2015 Corolla at the time, though the closely related 2014 model earned a Good rating in most tests and a Marginal result in the small overlap frontal-impact test.

Should I buy a 2015 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 45.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It blends dependable daily driving with a touch of style and modest driving enjoyment.

Consider the 2014 if:

• At $11,033, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $11,802 average.
• It emphasizes efficient, dependable commuting and long-term use.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $12,859, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $11,802 average.
• It adds a stronger emphasis on fuel economy and cost-effectiveness.

The bottom line: The 2015 is the right pick if you want a stable-price Corolla with strong ownership satisfaction and broad everyday appeal. If you are price-sensitive, the 2014 is the value play; if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling economy-car pitch, the 2016 is the alternative to compare.
