Yes — 5/5. The 2015 Subaru WRX STI is a rally-inspired performance sedan that still gives you everyday usability, standard all-wheel drive, and a practical layout. The 2015 Subaru WRX STI’s appeal comes from its focused performance hardware and standard all-wheel drive, which give it a serious edge on pavement and gravel alike. For used buyers, the bigger reliability risk is not just age, but how the car was driven and maintained, since this model has often been heavily used, abused, or modified.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Subaru WRX STI?

At 57.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether the car has been modified, repaired, or tracked. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on overall condition, signs of hard use, and whether the car still feels tight and well maintained. Because condition matters a great deal on this model, you should prioritize examples that look stock, clean, and consistently cared for.

That price movement suggests the market has stayed supportive for this model year, which can help if you plan to sell later. The combination of limited inventory and steady demand means well-kept examples should remain easier to move than neglected ones. If you buy carefully and keep the car in strong condition, you should be in a better position when it is time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Subaru WRX STI or consider a different year?
