Used 2015 Subaru WRX for Sale nearPittsburgh, PA

How much does the 2015 Subaru WRX cost?

Prices have softened 2.83% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 340 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2015 Subaru WRX a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 5/5, and that lines up with the model’s strong appeal for performance, power, and value. The owner feedback also points to handling that works well in various conditions, along with features that make the car feel useful beyond just straight-line speed. For you, that means the WRX makes the most sense if you want a sporty daily driver that still brings everyday usability. With 30.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2015 Subaru WRX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback emphasizes a car you can count on for performance, power, and value, with no broad pattern of trouble-free ownership concerns called out in the summary. Some drivers do mention a slight lag in the automatic transmission, which is worth keeping in mind if you want immediate response. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the core appeal and more about finding a well-kept example that has been maintained consistently.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Subaru WRX?

At 52.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection from a mechanic who can assess bodywork, drivetrain condition, and signs of hard use. Focus closely on overall condition, because a performance-oriented used car can vary a lot from one listing to the next. If a car has incomplete records or visible wear that does not match the mileage, move on.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Subaru WRX?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop but should still be picky.

• Deal availability: 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 340 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.83% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 52.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,255, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Subaru WRX's resale value?

The current average of $13,276 sits slightly below last year's $13,662.

That softer pricing suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car has been maintained. Well-kept examples should hold up better than average because shoppers still respond to the WRX’s performance-and-value formula.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Subaru WRX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 52.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.83% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $14,174, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $13,276 average.
• It leans harder into performance while still aiming to stay practical.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2015 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid owner satisfaction and decent deal availability. If you are willing to spend more for a newer model year, the 2016 is the secondary path to consider.
