How much does the 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport cost?

There are 222 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its value, fuel efficiency, and features, and many also like the available AWD and easy-to-live-with driving feel. Based on the model’s practical, budget-friendly setup, it makes the most sense if you want an affordable subcompact crossover with hatchback utility and a higher ride height. With 29.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also highlights dependable everyday use, with praise for the model’s value and the sense that it can be counted on for practical commuting and family duty. The long-running design and the positive ownership sentiment suggest a used example can be a sensible choice if it has been maintained well. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a neglected example, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport?

At 63.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from ones with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of body panels, alignment, tires, and signs of uneven wear, since those can reveal past repairs or harder use. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, because a well-kept example is the safest way to buy this model year.

What is the 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport's resale value?

The current average of $8,413 sits slightly below last year's $8,529.

That softer pricing suggests the model is holding value reasonably, but not aggressively, which is typical for a budget-oriented crossover. If you plan to sell later, a clean history and strong maintenance record should help you stand out in a market where buyers are already price sensitive. Because the model is affordable and practical, well-kept examples should continue to attract steady interest.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 63.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.37% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2015 if you want a value-focused, easy-to-shop used crossover and can verify condition carefully. If you are especially price-sensitive, this year’s softer pricing and decent deal share make it a sensible target, but you should still compare a few listings closely and favor the cleanest, best-documented example you can find.
