How much does the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class cost?

Prices have softened 8.11% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 878 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class a good car?

Yes — the 4.95/5 user rating points to very strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the luxurious features, smooth ride, powerful performance, high-quality interior, and advanced technology, and they often compare the car favorably with ultra-luxury brands. For you, that means this model year fits especially well if you want a flagship sedan that emphasizes comfort, prestige, and a deeply polished cabin experience. With 31.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is also a meaningful share of market-friendly options to consider.

Is the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class reliable?

Owners rate it 4.95/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights a car that feels dependable in daily use, with praise centered on its smooth ride, strong performance, and overall quality. That kind of satisfaction usually matters most when you are evaluating a used luxury sedan, because it suggests the ownership experience has been consistently positive over time. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the car’s appeal and more about the cost of keeping a complex flagship sedan in top condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class?

At 59.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a full vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage or repeated claims. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on condition, since a luxury sedan like this can be expensive to refresh if deferred maintenance has piled up. It also makes sense to pay close attention to how well the interior, electronics, and ride quality have been preserved, because those are the areas that most affect your ownership experience.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 31.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 878 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.11% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 59.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,733, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class's resale value?

The current average of $24,733 sits slightly below last year's $26,915.

That decline suggests the market has become a bit softer, which can work against you if you are planning to sell soon. On the other hand, it can also make the car more approachable for buyers who want to enter the segment at a lower price point. If you keep the car in excellent condition and maintain it carefully, you are more likely to protect value in a market where buyers are still drawn to well-kept luxury sedans.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.95/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 31.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 59.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.11% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.95/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, owner satisfaction, and market availability, the 2015 is the one to target first. If your priority is simply finding the lowest entry price, you can also compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than the cheapest one on paper.
