How much does the 2015 Mercedes-Benz G-Class cost?

Prices have softened 2.83% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 181 listings available, which gives you a modest pool to compare before you buy.

Is the 2015 Mercedes-Benz G-Class a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for this model year, and the G-Class stands out for blending military-grade roots with unmistakable luxury-car presence. Its boxy shape and off-road hardware give it real character, while the updated cabin, modern safety equipment, and luxury-focused features make it feel more refined than its rugged image suggests. If you want a vehicle that delivers serious capability without giving up status and comfort, this model year fits that use case well. 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2015 Mercedes-Benz G-Class reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The G-Class is described as expensive to buy and maintain, and its fuel economy is poor, so ownership costs can stay high even if the vehicle itself feels special. For used buyers, that means the main long-term risk is not just purchase price but also the ongoing cost of keeping a complex luxury SUV in top shape.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Mercedes-Benz G-Class?

At 54.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a full vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on body alignment, panel fit, suspension condition, and signs of heavy use, since this model’s rugged image can hide expensive wear. Pay close attention to overall condition and maintenance records, because a well-kept example is more likely to justify the premium you’ll pay.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Mercedes-Benz G-Class?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 181 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.83% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 54.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $53,108, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Mercedes-Benz G-Class's resale value?

The current average of $54,409 sits slightly below last year's $55,992.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy a clean, well-maintained example so you have the best chance of holding value when it’s time to move on. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Mercedes-Benz G-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 54.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.83% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest balance of current pricing, buyer interest, and satisfaction, the 2015 is the primary year to target. If you’re more price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price.
