This sixth-generation Quattroporte has two different trims to choose from. Paired with the recently introduced 8-speed ZX transmission (also equipped on the SQ4), the Quattroporte produces a whopping 530 hp, whisking you a quarter mile down the road in a snappy 12.7 seconds from a dead stop. Most who choose the GTS aren’t as concerned with efficiency as they are pedal power, but still, the GTS delivers a decent 13/22.

As you first sit in any of the Quattroporte models, you will have a strong impression of fanciful Italian styling. The leather and wood-trimmed amenities are abundant, yet the introduction of some Chrysler parts has turned off some potential buyers. Regardless of the elegance, somewhat bland designs have found their way into the interior. But there's still plenty of room for 5 adults to ride comfortably, and with the 18.9 cubic feet in the trunk, you can still haul a few precious items around town.

After its redesign in 2014, the Quattroporte grew in size with greater leg and head room inside to better accommodate passengers, and a wider stance to improve handling. Even so, there have been some that say the road feel of the Quattroporte still seems unresponsive and numb, even with the refined 4-wheel independent suspension. Others feel that the cornering is just right for the size of this 4-door sedan, and all agree the new exterior is well-suited to this car.
