How much does the 2015 Lincoln MKC cost?

There are 248 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2015 Lincoln MKC a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Lincoln MKC earns a 4.7/5 user rating and a 7.2/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

Owners consistently praise the smooth ride, comfort, and luxurious features, and they also call out the value for the price. In use-case terms, this is a compact luxury crossover aimed at you if you want upscale feel and practical options without giving up everyday drivability. The main tradeoff is that some drivers wish for more legroom and cargo space, so it may feel a bit tight if you regularly carry passengers or gear.

Only 27.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is selective rather than broadly discounted.

Is the 2015 Lincoln MKC reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with drivers repeatedly describing the MKC as smooth, comfortable, and a vehicle they feel good about living with over time. The expert drive notes also support that impression by describing the turbocharged powertrain as well suited to commuting and highway use, with a composed, polished character. The cost-effectiveness notes add that the MKC can become expensive once you start adding options, so long-term ownership risk for used buyers is less about basic dependability and more about choosing a well-equipped example at the right price.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Lincoln MKC?

At 58.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing has any accident history or a long option list. Pay close attention to bodywork quality, panel alignment, and whether the features you want are actually present, since this model could be optioned heavily. It also makes sense to focus on interior condition and space usage, because owner feedback and expert impressions both point to a cabin that can feel a bit cramped.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base 2.0-liter version is the simpler starting point, while the 2.3-liter setup adds the more powerful engine and is tied to the more upscale, option-heavy configuration described in the test drive. The higher-spec example also brought features such as the panoramic sunroof, blind-spot and cross-traffic alerts, navigation with voice recognition, heated and cooled front seats, and a hands-free liftgate.
• Powertrain: The turbocharged 2.0-liter engine makes 240 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque, while the 2.3-liter turbo four delivers nearly 300 horsepower and comes only with AWD. The 2.0-liter returns 20 mpg city/29 highway in FWD form and 19/26 with AWD; the 2.3-liter is rated at 18/26.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes stability and traction control, 4-wheel antilock disc brakes, a rear-view camera, and a full set of airbags including driver's knee and full-length side curtains. Available upgrades include blind-spot monitoring, frontal-collision prevention with pre-brake, and lane-keeping and rear cross-traffic alerts.
• Infotainment: The tech setup includes the THX sound system, easy phone pairing, and navigation with voice recognition. The panoramic sunroof can make the cabin feel brighter and roomier, though it can also wash out the screens in strong sunlight.
• Fuel efficiency: The base turbocharged engine returns 20 mpg city/29 highway in FWD form and 19/26 with AWD. The 2.3-liter engine is rated at 18/26.

Which 2015 Lincoln MKC trim should I buy?

The 2015 Lincoln MKC is offered in 2 trim levels: 2.0-liter and 2.3-liter.

Here's the short version:

• 2.0-liter: This is the better-value choice if you want the MKC’s luxury feel without chasing the pricier, more option-heavy setup. It still gives you the turbocharged powertrain, solid efficiency, and the core upscale character that defines the model.
• 2.3-liter: Choose this if you want the stronger engine and are more interested in the MKC’s performance-minded personality. It pairs with the more premium configuration described in the test drive, including the panoramic sunroof and several comfort and safety upgrades.

The safety package is strong overall, but some of the more advanced driver-assistance features are optional rather than standard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Lincoln MKC?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully but not so much discounting that every listing is a bargain.

• Deal availability: 27.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 248 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.36% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 58.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $9,724, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Lincoln MKC's resale value?

The current average of $9,894 sits slightly below last year's $10,916.

That tells you the market has moved down, which can help you as a buyer now but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the softer pricing trend suggests you should expect a more competitive resale environment unless your MKC is especially clean, well-equipped, and well documented. Strong condition and desirable equipment matter more when the broader market is already drifting lower.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Lincoln MKC safe?

The 2015 Lincoln MKC earns an IIHS rating of Good and a four-star overall rating from NHTSA, with four-star frontal and five-star side-impact ratings.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes stability and traction control, 4-wheel antilock disc brakes, a rear-view camera, and a full set of airbags including driver's knee and full-length side curtains. Available driver-assistance features include blind-spot monitoring, frontal-collision prevention with pre-brake, and lane-keeping and rear cross-traffic alerts. One caveat to keep in mind is that NHTSA noted the left-side passenger door opened during the side-impact test.

Should I buy a 2015 Lincoln MKC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 27.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.36% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2015 MKC’s appeal is its Mustang-inspired turbo power, upscale cabin materials, and available adaptive suspension, which give it a more distinctive luxury-crossover personality.

The bottom line: The 2015 is a good pick if you want the MKC’s strongest personality traits and you find a clean, well-priced example. If you’re more price-sensitive, focus on the best-maintained listing rather than chasing the highest trim, since options can push costs up quickly.

How does the 2015 Lincoln MKC compare to the 2015 Ford Escape?

Our experts score the 2015 Lincoln MKC 7.2/10 and the 2015 Ford Escape 7.7/10.

The MKC leans more upscale, with a luxury-first cabin, stronger available power, and a more distinctive personality. The Escape is the better value on paper, with a lower average used price, more listings, and a higher share of good and great deals and accident-free examples. If you want the more premium-feeling crossover, the MKC makes sense; if you want broader market choice and a lower entry price, the Escape is the easier buy.
