overall

Summary
With 258 currently listed for sale and an average price of $10,025, 26.7% of 2015 Lincoln MKCs for sale on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2015 Lincoln MKC 4.71 / 5 stars and CarGurus experts gave it a 7.17 / 10.

Why it stands out
The 2015 Lincoln MKC debuts as a new entry-level luxury crossover, and that alone helps set it apart. Lincoln positioned it as a way to sharpen a brand image that had become somewhat muddled, while giving shoppers a compact luxury SUV with a more upscale feel than its size might suggest.
What makes the 2015 MKC especially distinctive is the combination of performance-minded hardware and luxury touches. The test-drive summary highlights a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with nearly 300 horsepower and torque to match, along with sexy interior materials, an optional adaptive suspension, and a panoramic sunroof. Those ingredients make it easy to see why the MKC could stand out to buyers looking for something more memorable than a typical small crossover.
At the same time, the MKC is not without compromises. Owner feedback points to a smooth ride, comfort, and strong value for the price, but also notes that legroom and cargo space can feel limited. That balance of upscale appeal, useful equipment, and some interior tightness defines the 2015 Lincoln MKC’s character.

Initial impression was great. Comfortable to drive and has a luxurious feel to it. Pictures made it seem much larger than it was though, along with some other reviews from 3rd parties noting it was comparable to a Ford escape. The inside felt more like a compact hatchback. Comfy for the driver and front passenger if the chairs are all the way back but you wouldnt be able to fit any additional passengers comfortably and the trunk has very little space.

| Year-Round Low | $9,728 |
| Year-Round High | $11,213 |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $11,210 |

There are 253 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.
Is the 2015 Lincoln MKC a good car?
Yes — the 2015 Lincoln MKC earns a 4.71/5 user rating and a 7.17/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.
Drivers consistently praise the smooth ride, comfort, and luxurious features, and they also call out the strong value for the price. The MKC’s upscale feel and practical options help it stand out as a compact luxury crossover, especially if you want something more memorable than a typical small SUV.
At the same time, the overview points to limited legroom and cargo space, so it makes the most sense if you value comfort and premium touches more than maximum interior room. With 27.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still gives you some room to shop carefully.
Is the 2015 Lincoln MKC reliable?
Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
User feedback points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with drivers repeatedly describing the MKC as comfortable, practical, and a vehicle they feel good about living with over time. The expert drive notes also support that impression by describing the MKC as a crossover that handles mostly commuting and highway duties without drama.
The ownership picture looks reassuring for used buyers, but you should still pay close attention to maintenance records and overall condition, since luxury features and optional equipment can add complexity as the miles build up.
What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Lincoln MKC?
At 60.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of body panels, alignment, electronics, and any optional equipment, since the MKC can be loaded with features that matter to day-to-day ownership. It also helps to focus on interior condition, because owner feedback notes that the cabin can feel tight in legroom and cargo space.
Key things to evaluate:
- Trim level: The base setup already includes a fun and slightly sophisticated feel, but higher equipment groups add features like heated and cooled front seats, a hands-free liftgate, navigation with voice recognition, blind-spot and cross-traffic alerts, and a panoramic sunroof. If you want the most upscale experience, look closely at the better-equipped versions rather than the most basic one.
- Powertrain: The MKC uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with 240 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque, and there is also a turbocharged 2.3-liter engine with nearly 300 hp and more torque. Which 2015 Lincoln MKC trim should I buy?
The 2015 Lincoln MKC is offered in 1 trim level: MKC.
Here's the short version:
The MKC is best approached as a trim that becomes much more compelling when it’s equipped with the right options. The available equipment packages add the luxury and convenience features that make this crossover feel special, including the panoramic sunroof, upgraded audio, heated and cooled front seats, and additional driver-assistance tech.
The best-value path is the better-equipped version that includes the features you’ll actually notice every day, especially if you want the MKC to feel like a true luxury crossover rather than a basic compact SUV with a premium badge.
The safety package adds useful driver-assistance features, but some of them are optional rather than standard, so make sure the listing you’re considering has the equipment you want.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Lincoln MKC?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.
- Deal availability: 27.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 253 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 10.20% compared with last year.
- Clean inventory: 60.1% of listings are accident-free.
If you find a listing below $9,728, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2015 Lincoln MKC's resale value?
The current average of $10,067 sits slightly below last year's $11,210.
That decline suggests the MKC has become more affordable for buyers, which can help you if you’re shopping now but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that pricing has already adjusted downward, so condition and equipment will matter more when it comes time to list the vehicle.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Is the 2015 Lincoln MKC safe?
The 2015 Lincoln MKC earns the IIHS top rating of Good and a four-star rating from NHTSA, with four-star frontal and five-star side-impact results.
It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.
The MKC comes with stability and traction control, 4-wheel antilock disc brakes, a rear-view camera, and a full set of airbags including driver’s knee and full-length side curtains. Available safety tech includes blind-spot monitoring, frontal-collision prevention with pre-brake, lane-keeping assist, and rear cross-traffic alerts.
One caveat worth noting is that NHTSA observed the left-side passenger door opening during the side-impact test, so you should pay close attention to crash history and body integrity on any used example.
Should I buy a 2015 Lincoln MKC or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2015 if:
- 27.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- At 60.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 10.20% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
- The 2015 MKC stands out as a new entry-level luxury crossover with a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, upscale materials, an optional adaptive suspension, and a panoramic sunroof.
The bottom line: If you want the MKC’s upscale feel, strong owner satisfaction, and softened pricing, the 2015 is a solid place to start. If you’re especially price-sensitive, focus on the best-maintained example you can find and prioritize listings with the equipment and history that match your needs.
