Used 2015 Lexus NX for Sale nearTrenton, NJ

How much does the 2015 Lexus NX cost?

Prices have softened 5.67% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 403 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of used NX options to compare.

Is the 2015 Lexus NX a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Lexus NX earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

The NX stands out as a daringly styled compact luxury crossover, so it makes the most sense if you want something distinctive rather than conventional. It also brings practical strengths such as strong safety credentials and fuel-efficient operation, but the trade-offs are real: the powertrain can feel balky and sluggish, and the center-stack controls are complicated and unintuitive.

The main compromises are the hesitant drivetrain response and the frustrating control layout, both of which can make everyday driving less polished than you might expect in a luxury crossover. Even so, 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2015 Lexus NX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The NX is described as generally reliable, and it also earns a favorable depreciation rating, which points to better value retention over time. Its warranty coverage is fairly generous, and it comes with free roadside assistance for the first few years of ownership.

The main long-term ownership risk for used buyers is that the NX’s premium features and technology can be costly to sort out if you end up with a poorly maintained example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Lexus NX?

At 55.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with optional equipment. Focus on overall condition, signs of prior bodywork, and whether the technology and driver-assistance features work as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The NX 200t with the F Sport Package adds unique 18-inch aluminum wheels with upgraded tires, a sport-tuned suspension, revised styling details inside and out, transmission paddle shifters, and performance-oriented gauges. The base setup is more about the NX’s distinctive styling and core luxury-crossover appeal than extra hardware, so you should pay close attention to which packages are fitted.
• Powertrain: The NX 200t uses a turbocharged, direct-injected 2.0-liter 4-cylinder with 235 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic and available all-wheel drive. The engine can feel uneven and the transmission can get confused when you ask for passing power, so a test drive should include stop-and-go traffic and highway merging.
• Safety package: Lexus Enform Safety Connect, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, a pre-collision system with autonomous braking, parking-assist sensors, and rain-sensing wipers are available. Every NX gets a rear-view camera, but most other safety upgrades cost extra.
• Infotainment: The Navigation Package adds a navigation system, Lexus Enform smartphone connectivity and services, enhanced Bluetooth, advanced voice-command technology, and the Remote Touchpad interface. A Qi-compatible wireless charging tray is also available, but the interface can be frustrating to use.
• Fuel efficiency: The NX 200t performed well in testing with a 22.3-mpg test average, and the EPA estimate cited for combined driving is 24 mpg.

Which 2015 Lexus NX trim should I buy?

The 2015 Lexus NX is offered in 1 trim level: NX 200t.

Here's the short version:

The NX 200t is the trim to focus on, especially if you want the core NX experience with its distinctive styling and available all-wheel drive. If you want the sharper driving feel described in the test data, the F Sport Package is the standout add-on because it brings the firmer suspension, upgraded wheels and tires, paddle shifters, and sport-oriented details that make the NX feel more engaging.

The safety package note to keep in mind is that Lexus makes many of the NX’s safety features optional, while every version does include a rear-view camera.

What is the 2015 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $17,232 sits slightly below last year's $18,268.

That softer pricing can be a plus if you’re buying now, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. Lexus equips every NX with a rear-view camera, and available safety tech includes Lexus Enform Safety Connect, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, a pre-collision system with autonomous braking, parking-assist sensors, and rain-sensing wipers. Most of those features are optional rather than standard, so you should verify exactly what’s on the specific vehicle you’re considering.

Should I buy a 2015 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 55.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2015 stands out for its daring styling, strong safety ratings, and fuel-efficient operation, even though the powertrain and controls are less polished than you might want.

The bottom line: The 2015 NX makes the most sense if you want the distinctive styling and strong safety reputation of this model year at a softened used-car price. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years as well, but the 2015 remains a sensible pick when you find a clean example with the right equipment and a good service history.
