Used 2015 Lexus NX for Sale nearLos Angeles, CA

How much does the 2015 Lexus NX cost?

Prices have softened 6.20% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 379 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you decide.

Is the 2015 Lexus NX a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Lexus NX earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

Its appeal starts with bold styling and a distinctive presence in the compact luxury crossover class, and it also brings practical strengths in safety and fuel-efficient operation. Those traits make it a fit if you want a luxury crossover that stands out visually while still covering everyday duties.

The trade-offs are real: the powertrain can feel sluggish, the ergonomics are poor, and the technology can be unintuitive. If you value easy-to-use controls and smooth acceleration more than design flair, those drawbacks matter.

Only 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is selective rather than especially bargain-heavy.

Is the 2015 Lexus NX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The NX is described as generally reliable, and it also earns a favorable depreciation rating, which points to stronger value retention over time. Its generous warranty coverage and free roadside assistance for the first few years of ownership add some reassurance for used buyers.

The main ownership risk is that many desirable features were optional, so you should verify equipment carefully and make sure the vehicle’s condition matches the price you’re paying.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Lexus NX?

At 53.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle-history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with optional equipment that may be expensive to fix. Focus on overall condition, feature operation, and signs that the vehicle has been maintained consistently.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The F Sport Package adds unique 18-inch aluminum wheels with upgraded tires, a sport-tuned suspension, revised styling details inside and out, transmission paddle shifters, and performance-oriented gauges. Base versions miss a number of luxury features that many shoppers may expect.
• Powertrain: The NX 200t uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder with 235 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, but the 6-speed automatic can hesitate and produce uneven acceleration. The hybrid powertrain is mentioned as an available alternative, but the gas model’s drivability is the key concern here.
• Safety package: Lexus Enform Safety Connect, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, a pre-collision system with autonomous braking, parking-assist sensors, and rain-sensing wipers are available, but most safety upgrades cost extra beyond the standard rear-view camera.
• Infotainment: The Navigation Package adds a navigation system, Lexus Enform smartphone connectivity and services, enhanced Bluetooth, advanced voice-command technology, and a remote touchpad controller. The interface is complicated, so test it carefully before you buy.
• Fuel efficiency: The NX 200t returned a 22.3-mpg test average and was estimated at 24 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2015 Lexus NX trim should I buy?

The 2015 Lexus NX is offered in 2 trim levels: NX 200t and NX 300h.

Here's the short version:

• NX 200t: This is the gas model to focus on if you want the core NX experience and the broadest used-market availability. It delivers the turbocharged 2.0-liter setup and is the version most directly tied to the styling, safety, and efficiency strengths that define this model year.
• NX 300h: Choose this if you want the hybrid powertrain and are willing to pay more for it. The content points to efficiency as its main advantage, but it also notes that the hybrid premium can be hard to justify when fuel prices are low.

Lexus makes many safety-related features optional, so check carefully for the rear-view camera and any added driver-assistance equipment on the specific vehicle you’re considering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Lexus NX?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to compare listings, but the best examples still deserve quick action.

• Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 379 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.20% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 53.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,322, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $17,322 sits slightly below last year's $18,467.

That decline suggests the market has become a bit softer, which can help you as a buyer today but may temper what a future seller can expect. Even so, the NX’s favorable depreciation rating points to better value retention than many shoppers might expect from a luxury crossover with optional equipment and a distinctive design.

If you keep the vehicle in strong condition and document maintenance, you should be in a better position when it’s time to sell. The styling may be polarizing, but the combination of safety, efficiency, and brand reputation can still support demand.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Lexus NX safe?

The Lexus NX earns a Top Safety Pick from the IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Lexus equips every NX with a rear-view camera, while other safety features are optional. Available equipment includes Lexus Enform Safety Connect, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, a pre-collision system with autonomous braking, parking-assist sensors, and rain-sensing wipers.

The main caveat is that many of the advanced safety features are not standard, so you should verify exactly which systems are installed on the specific vehicle you’re considering.

Should I buy a 2015 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.20% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2015 stands out for its daring styling, strong safety ratings, and fuel-efficient operation, even though its performance and technology are less polished.

The bottom line: If you want the most distinctive styling and you’re comfortable checking equipment carefully, the 2015 NX is a reasonable buy. If you’re shopping mainly on price, a later or earlier year may be worth comparing, but the 2015 still makes sense when you find a clean, well-equipped example at the right number.
