Used 2015 Kia Forte for Sale nearPhiladelphia, PA

How much does the 2015 Kia Forte cost?

Prices have softened 10.02% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 362 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2015 Kia Forte a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Kia Forte earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.17/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

The Forte fits you well if you want a small, affordable car that still feels stylish and well equipped. Its appeal is strongest when you value a low starting price but also want the option to add a lot of features as you move up through the lineup.

The market also shows 25.4% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive buys out there.

Is the 2015 Kia Forte reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Forte’s appeal is reinforced by its attractive purchase price, low expected ownership costs, and industry-leading warranty coverage. The expert review also points to strong quality impressions and low predicted ownership costs, which helps support confidence if you plan to keep the car for a while.

At the same time, long-term dependability is expected to be average, so you should still prioritize a careful inspection and service-history review before buying.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Kia Forte?

At 48.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle-history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Then focus your inspection on body panels, paint consistency, and signs of uneven wear that could point to past collision work.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LX is the simpler starting point, with basic wheels and fewer convenience features, while the EX adds a peppier engine, automatic transmission, Flex Steer, aluminum wheels, automatic headlights, fog lights, LED running lights, and power-folding mirrors. The EX is the better value if you want a more complete feature set without jumping into heavy option packages.
• Powertrain: The EX uses a 173-hp, 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The review also notes that the car can feel soft in some situations and that the steering settings are not equally satisfying.
• Safety package: The Forte includes UVO-related safety functions and a reversing camera, but it does not bring much in the way of advanced driver-assistance tech. The review also notes the absence of blind-spot warning and rear cross-traffic alert.
• Infotainment: UVO eServices is a major strength, and the system can be paired with Bluetooth, Pandora, parking memory, 911 Connect, navigation, and a reversing camera. The tech package also adds expanded UVO features.
• Fuel efficiency: The review cites 25 mpg city and 36 mpg highway, with a tested average of 28.1 mpg.

Which 2015 Kia Forte trim should I buy?

The 2015 Kia Forte is offered in 2 trim levels: LX and EX.

Here's the short version:

• LX: This is the entry point, and it already gives you a decent equipment list for the money, including air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, Bluetooth, a USB port, and satellite radio. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the Forte, but the available Popular Package is what really helps it feel more complete.
• EX: This is the best-value trim if you want the Forte to feel more polished right away. You get the stronger engine, standard automatic transmission, Flex Steer, aluminum wheels, automatic headlights, fog lights, LED running lights, and power-folding mirrors, plus the LX Popular Package content. If you want the most satisfying balance of features and everyday usability, this is the trim to target.

The safety content also notes that the Forte lacks several advanced driver-assistance features, so you should not expect a modern safety suite even on higher trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Kia Forte?

The market looks moderately favorable for selective buyers.

• Deal availability: 25.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 362 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.02% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 48.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $7,093, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Kia Forte's resale value?

The current average of $7,139 sits slightly below last year's $7,935.

That decline suggests the Forte has softened in the used market, which can be good news if you're buying now but less helpful if you're planning to sell soon. If you own one, pricing pressure may continue unless your car stands out with low miles, clean history, and strong condition.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Kia Forte safe?

The 2015 Kia Forte earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA, and the IIHS says it earns top marks in other tests, but its small overlap frontal result is only Marginal.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Kia’s main safety-related feature set centers on UVO eServices and the reversing camera, but the car does not offer much beyond federally mandated equipment. The review specifically calls out the lack of blind-spot warning and rear cross-traffic alert, which are notable omissions if you want more modern driver assistance.

The biggest caveat is the small overlap frontal crash result, which remains a weak point even after improvement.

Should I buy a 2015 Kia Forte or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 25.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 48.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.02% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2015 stands out for its attractive styling, low starting price, and unusually rich feature content for the class.

Consider the 2014 if:

• At $6,549, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $7,139 average.
• The 2014 is a more complete and competitive small car with a polished interior and strong everyday usability.

The bottom line: If you want the better-equipped and more feature-rich Forte, the 2015 is the stronger pick. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2014 is the better value path, especially if you find one with a clean history and solid condition.
