Used 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE for Sale nearAtlanta, GA

Is the 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE a good car?

Yes — 5/5 from owners and 8.17/10 from our experts. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

The 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE is framed as Jaguar’s first true sports coupe in four decades, and it’s presented as a car that pushes all the right buttons. The overview emphasizes its heritage as a spiritual successor to the E-Type, along with the sense that Jaguar got nearly everything right while leaving only a few small issues to fix.

That lines up with the expert test-drive take: the car is praised for its style, performance character, and overall completeness, even if it isn’t perfect. For you, that means this is a strong fit if you want a distinctive sports car that leans hard into emotion and driving appeal rather than practicality. 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview and expert test-drive summary both point to a car that feels broadly well executed, with only a few small issues left to address. The expert write-up also describes it as a model that has “done nearly everything right,” which supports the idea that it’s not a troubled design so much as a high-performance car with the usual complexity that comes with the territory.

The performance notes also suggest the F-TYPE is engineered to deliver its power cleanly and confidently, and the cost-effectiveness commentary reinforces that this is a special-purpose sports car rather than a bargain commuter. If you buy used, your main long-term ownership risk is the usual one for a high-strung performance coupe: you should expect maintenance and repair costs to matter more than they would on a mainstream car.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE?

At 65.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle-history report and then prioritize a careful inspection of bodywork, panel alignment, and repair quality. Because this is a low-slung, high-performance sports car, you’ll also want to focus on how the car drives, how the brakes feel, and whether the cabin electronics and optional equipment work as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base F-TYPE already brings 340 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque, while the S raises output to 380 hp and 339 lb-ft. The R steps up to a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 with 550 hp and 502 lb-ft, and the S can also be had with all-wheel drive. Base cars are the simplest entry point, while the S adds more punch and the R is the most extreme choice.
• Powertrain: The lineup uses supercharged V6 and V8 power, paired with the ZF 8-speed automatic. The performance notes say the car responds sharply in Dynamic mode, while Normal is more restrained and Snow reduces torque for traction.
• Safety package: The car includes dual front and side airbags, seatbelt pre-tensioners, a limited-slip differential, high-performance brakes with emergency brake assist, traction control, and dynamic stability control. Optional equipment adds adaptive front lights, front sensors, a rear camera, and a blind-spot monitor.
• Infotainment: The cabin can be equipped with InControl Apps, but the system is described as limited and difficult to use. The Meridian stereo is powerful, and the rear camera helps with visibility, but some tech was notably absent.
• Fuel efficiency: EPA estimates are 19 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined.

Which 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE trim should I buy?

The 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE is offered in 3 trim levels: F-TYPE, F-TYPE S, F-TYPE R.

Here's the short version:

• F-TYPE: This is the entry point, but it still brings 340 hp and 332 lb-ft from a supercharged 3.0-liter V6, plus the standard 8-speed automatic. It’s the trim to choose if you want the core F-TYPE experience without chasing the highest output.
• F-TYPE S: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it steps up to 380 hp and 339 lb-ft, and it can be had with all-wheel drive. It also pairs well with the available performance and convenience packages if you want a more complete sports-car setup.
• F-TYPE R: This is the full-throttle version, with a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 making 550 hp and 502 lb-ft. Choose it if you want the most dramatic acceleration and the most serious performance character in the lineup.

The safety content notes that adaptive front lights, front sensors, a rear camera, and a blind-spot monitor are optional rather than standard, so you should check carefully for those features on any used example.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE?

• Clean inventory: 65.9% of listings are accident-free.

Is the 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE safe?

The 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE has no crash test ratings from either NHTSA or IIHS.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The safety equipment includes dual front and side airbags, seatbelt pre-tensioners, a limited-slip differential, high-performance brakes with emergency brake assist, traction control, and dynamic stability control. Optional safety-related features include adaptive front lights, front sensors, a rear camera, and a blind-spot monitor.

One important caveat is that the car’s safety performance has not been formally crash tested, so you’re relying more on its equipment list and engineering than on published test results.

Should I buy a 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 65.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It marks Jaguar’s long-awaited return to a true sports coupe, with nearly everything done right.

Consider the 2016 if:

• It keeps the same two-seat sports-car formula but adds a more complete ownership appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the most emotionally compelling version of this Jaguar’s return-to-form story, the 2015 is the one to target. If you’re price-sensitive, the 2015 also makes sense because the market shows meaningful deal availability, but you should be especially careful about accident history and option content before you buy.
