What should I look for when buying a used 2015 INFINITI QX60?

At 53.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a careful pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the vehicle’s equipment and safety systems work as expected. Because this model year is positioned as a luxury crossover with family use in mind, you’ll want to make sure the cabin, electronics, and safety features all feel consistent with the mileage and asking price.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base model’s feature set is more limited, and the source specifically notes that the audio system in the base model can miss essential features like Bluetooth. Higher trims add more comfort, convenience, and infotainment equipment, so you should compare the cabin and tech content carefully before deciding.
• Powertrain: The QX60 uses a 3.5-liter V6 with a CVT and 265 horsepower. The engine is described as refined and smooth-revving, and the transmission gains Enhanced D-Step Logic for 2015 to feel more like a traditional automatic under hard acceleration.
• Safety package: The Technology Package adds a full suite of safety systems designed to prevent collisions. The safety content also mentions standard stability control, optional Lane Departure Prevention, Distance Control Assist, Blind Spot Intervention, and collision-notification and emergency calling through Infiniti Connection.
• Infotainment: The system includes Bluetooth streaming audio, voice recognition, hard-drive navigation, and a premium sound system. The text also notes that Infiniti Connection and InTouch Apps require the Premium Plus package, and that the vehicle does not provide Wi-Fi Internet access, rear-seat USB ports, or Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Fuel efficiency: The expert review says the front-wheel-drive QX60 should have gotten 23 mpg in combined driving, while the test result came in at 18.9 mpg.
