The 2015 Hyundai Veloster stands out because it blends hatchback practicality with a distinctly unconventional layout. Its asymmetrical three-door design gives it one door on the driver’s side and two on the passenger side, and the hatchback body adds generous cargo space. That combination makes it feel more playful and useful than a typical compact coupe, while still giving it a sporty personality.
For 2015, the Veloster’s appeal also came from its equipment and value. It offered a 1.6-liter inline four-cylinder engine with 138 hp and 123 lb-ft of torque, a six-speed automatic manual transmission, and an available six-speed dual-clutch automatic with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. I like the vehicle. There were a few issues that needed to be addressed (missing parts/screws, windshield fluid pump not working. However I understand the car is almost 10 years old and would have some issues.
