Used 2015 Dodge Challenger for Sale nearTrenton, NJ

How much does the 2015 Dodge Challenger cost?

Prices have softened 1.88% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,151 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2015 Dodge Challenger a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Dodge Challenger earns a 4.88/5 user rating and an 8.33/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its impressive power, retro design, comfort, and eye-catching looks. That lines up with the Challenger’s appeal as a car that blends classic pony-car personality with everyday livability, rather than chasing a pure sports-car formula.

You should think of it as a style-first performance coupe that still works well day to day, especially if you want a roomy, easy-to-live-with alternative to harder-edged rivals. Good and great deals account for 26.7% of listings, so there are still attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2015 Dodge Challenger reliable?

Owners rate it 4.88/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels impressive, comfortable, and appealing enough that people keep coming back to it. The expert evaluation also describes the chassis and powertrains as well proven, with most of the bugs worked out, which supports the idea that this is a car you can count on if it has been maintained properly.

The Challenger’s everyday livability and proven mechanical setup are encouraging for used buyers, but you should still pay close attention to maintenance history and wear items, especially on higher-output versions.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Dodge Challenger?

At 57.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle-history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired correctly. A pre-purchase inspection matters here, especially if you’re considering a higher-performance trim or a car with larger wheels and lower-profile tires. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, and signs that the car has been driven hard or modified.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Challenger is available in 7 different basic configurations, from a V6-powered SXT to the Hemi-packing R/T, SRT 392 and SRT Hellcat. The styling is broadly strong across the lineup, but the base setup is the most straightforward way to get the look without the higher-performance hardware.
• Powertrain: V6-powered Challengers have at least 305 hp, while the SRT 392 uses a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 with 485 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque. Rear-wheel drive and an anti-spin differential are part of the setup, and the SRT models add adjustable suspension tuning, launch control, and performance displays.
• Safety package: The Challenger can be equipped with adaptive cruise control with forward-collision warning, rain-sensing wipers, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, and a rear-view camera. Some of these aids are described as technology features rather than universal equipment, so check the exact trim and option content on the car you’re considering.
• Infotainment: The Challenger uses an 8.4-inch display with UConnect navigation and infotainment, plus Bluetooth, USB, auxiliary input, voice prompts, and smartphone integration through UConnect Access. It can also function as an Internet hotspot with Mopar Web.
• Fuel efficiency: The V6 Challenger will return up to 30 mpg highway, while the SRT 392 returned 14 mpg city/23 highway and 16 mpg in mixed driving.

Which 2015 Dodge Challenger trim should I buy?

The 2015 Dodge Challenger is offered in 7 trim levels: SXT, R/T, SRT 392, SRT Hellcat, and the additional configurations referenced in the model description.

Here's the short version:

• SXT: This is the entry point if you want the Challenger’s retro style and everyday livability without stepping into the pricier V8 models. It’s the most budget-friendly way to get the look and the roomy coupe packaging.
• R/T: This is the better-value choice if you want the classic Hemi experience and a more serious performance character. It also gets the manual-transmission option that suits buyers who want a more engaging drive.
• SRT 392: This is the best fit if you want the strongest balance of big power, adjustable performance hardware, and the most complete enthusiast setup short of the Hellcat. It adds the 6.4-liter Hemi V8, upgraded brakes, adaptive dampening, and SRT-specific drive features.
• SRT Hellcat: This is the choice if outright performance is your priority and you want the most extreme version of the lineup.

The safety-tech content highlights available driver aids such as adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, and a rear-view camera, so check whether the specific trim you’re shopping includes the features you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Dodge Challenger?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,151 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.88% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 57.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,247, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Dodge Challenger's resale value?

The current average of $21,244 sits slightly below last year's $21,651.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim choice rather than broad market momentum alone.

Higher-output versions tend to hold value better than the higher-volume trims, so a well-kept performance model may be easier to resell later. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.88/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Dodge Challenger safe?

The 2015 Challenger has not been crash-tested yet, but earlier model years earned five-star ratings from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Challenger SRT models are not officially rated.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The Challenger can be equipped with adaptive cruise control with forward-collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, rain-sensing wipers, automatic high beams, and a rear-view camera. Those aids help offset the car’s limited visibility and big-coupe dimensions, especially in parking-lot situations.

A key caveat is that the car’s size and visibility can make it feel less nimble in tight spaces, so you should pay close attention to how well the driver-assistance features work on the specific car you’re considering.

Should I buy a 2015 Dodge Challenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 57.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.88% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.88/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2015 refresh brings updated styling and modern driver aids while keeping the Challenger’s retro character intact.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $24,648, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $21,244 average.
• It adds a new shaker hood and fresh trim and wheel options.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2015 is the smarter starting point because it combines a lower average price with strong owner satisfaction and a refreshed look. If you’re willing to pay more for a slightly newer take with extra appearance options, the 2016 is the better secondary path.
