Is the 2015 Audi A6 a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2015 Audi A6 stands out as a refined midsize luxury sedan that blends understated style with a strong technology focus, and it appeals if you want premium equipment with everyday usability. It also brings standard all-wheel drive and a broad spread of technology, including digital interfaces and semi-autonomous capability, which helps it feel substantial and quietly advanced. 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there is still some market value to be found.

Is the 2015 Audi A6 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2015 Audi A6 is presented as a well-equipped luxury sedan with standard all-wheel drive and a strong emphasis on technology, which can make it appealing for buyers who want a premium daily driver. At the same time, the model’s poorly executed infotainment system is one of its noted drawbacks, so you should pay close attention to how the electronics behave during a test drive and ownership inspection. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is less about the basic concept of the car and more about verifying that the tech and features work as intended.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Audi A6?

At 60.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to bodywork consistency, panel alignment, and any signs that accident repairs were not fully corrected. Because this model leans heavily on technology, you should also focus on the condition and operation of the infotainment and driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Audi A6?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find value if you compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 459 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.40% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 60.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,434, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Audi A6's resale value?

The current average of $11,794 sits slightly below last year's $12,600.

That softer pricing suggests the model has already moved down from its prior level, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, you may be able to reduce your depreciation exposure compared with paying closer to the top of the range. The strongest resale prospects will usually come from well-kept examples with clean history and desirable equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Audi A6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2015 Audi A6 makes the most sense if you want this generation’s mix of understated luxury, standard all-wheel drive, and strong technology, and you can verify that the specific car has a clean history and working electronics. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2015 remains a solid primary target when you find one in good condition and priced near the lower end of the range.
