What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Acura RDX?

At 58.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Because this model is often bought for everyday use, focus on overall condition rather than just mileage.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Acura RDX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 655 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.27% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 58.2% of listings are accident-free.

What is the 2015 Acura RDX's resale value?

The current average of $12,454 sits slightly below last year's $13,009.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more favorable for buyers, but it can also mean future resale gains may be more limited if prices stay under pressure. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can help protect your exit value. Strong demand for a well-reviewed luxury crossover can still support resale, especially when the vehicle has a good reputation with owners.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.27% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $14,462, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $12,454 average.
• It adds a broader update with improved safety and newer infotainment.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2015 if you want the better value and a strong owner-rated experience. If you can spend more and want the newer update, the 2016 is the better secondary path for buyers who care about added technology and revisions.
