How much does the 2015 Acura MDX cost?

Prices have softened 5.87% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 919 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2015 Acura MDX a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its reliability, spaciousness, and performance, and many also like the comfortable seating and advanced technologies. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a three-row luxury SUV with a roomy cabin and a useful third row. With 33.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful value to be found if you shop carefully.

Is the 2015 Acura MDX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback emphasizes reliability, and the model is also described as dependable and trouble-free by many shoppers. That combination matters if you want a used SUV you can count on for long-term ownership. For you, the main risk is buying a poorly maintained example, so condition and service history should carry extra weight.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Acura MDX?

At 57.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any damage was structural or cosmetic. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on the infotainment system, interior wear, and overall mechanical condition. Because the third row is small and the cabin lost some space versus the previous generation, make sure the layout still fits your needs before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Acura MDX?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 33.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 919 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.87% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 57.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,066, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Acura MDX's resale value?

The current average of $13,138 sits slightly below last year's $13,957.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more buyer-friendly, which can limit how quickly your value grows if you buy now. If you plan to sell later, a well-kept example with strong documentation should hold up better than one with gaps in maintenance or accident history. Demand should remain supported by the model’s reputation for comfort, space, and quality.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Acura MDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 33.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 57.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2014 if:

• At $12,100, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $13,138 average.
• It feels more refined and broadly appealing while keeping the MDX’s athletic character.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $14,403, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $13,138 average.
• It adds a new 9-speed automatic and emphasizes safety and refinement.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and available inventory, the 2015 is the primary path to consider. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2014 is the better value play, while the 2016 makes sense if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling setup.
