Used 2014 Toyota Sequoia for Sale near Virginia

How much does the 2014 Toyota Sequoia cost?

Prices have softened 8.28% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 169 listings available, which suggests a modest but workable amount of inventory for shoppers.

Is the 2014 Toyota Sequoia a good car?

Generally — the 4/5 user rating points to a model that satisfies many shoppers, and the overview backs that up with a clear focus on utility, durability, and family hauling. You’re looking at a large, truck-based SUV with three rows of seating and room for up to eight passengers depending on the second-row layout, so it makes the most sense if you want space, towing capability, and a traditional body-on-frame feel. Its strengths are capability and toughness, while its tradeoffs are fuel economy and a ride that can feel truck-like. 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Toyota Sequoia reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview describes this Sequoia as a model with a reputation for Toyota durability and dependability, supported by its proven 5.7-liter V8 and truck-based construction. That combination is appealing if you want a full-size SUV built around tried-and-true hardware rather than newer, more complex systems. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the basic design and more about age-related wear that can show up in a large, hard-working SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Toyota Sequoia?

At 56.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially on suspension, brakes, and other wear items that matter on a large body-on-frame SUV. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, because a well-kept example is likely to matter more than small cosmetic differences.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Toyota Sequoia?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 169 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.28% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 56.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,353, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Toyota Sequoia's resale value?

The current average of $19,596 sits slightly below last year's $21,366.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to sell soon. Even so, the Sequoia’s reputation for durability and its strong utility profile should help it stay relevant with shoppers who want a full-size SUV with real capability. If you keep the vehicle in strong condition and maintain it well, you’re more likely to preserve value when it’s time to move on.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Toyota Sequoia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2014 is a strong choice if you want a full-size SUV with proven utility, a durable reputation, and a market that has become a bit more buyer-friendly. If your priority is value and you’re comfortable shopping carefully for condition and history, this year makes sense. If you want the best odds of finding a cleaner, better-kept example, you may also want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained listing rather than the newest badge.
