Used 2014 Toyota Sequoia for Sale near Minnesota

How much does the 2014 Toyota Sequoia cost?

Prices have softened 6.99% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 167 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2014 Toyota Sequoia a good car?

Generally — the 4/5 user rating points to a solid ownership experience for a full-size SUV. The 2014 Toyota Sequoia is a large, truck-based family SUV with three rows of seating, rugged construction, and a reputation built on tried-and-true hardware rather than novelty. It also brings a strong towing focus and family-friendly utility, though its truck-like ride and poor fuel economy are clear tradeoffs. The market currently shows 31.1% good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Toyota Sequoia reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2014 Toyota Sequoia leans on durable, proven hardware, including a robust 5.7-liter V8 and body-on-frame construction. That kind of setup is part of why it earned a reputation for toughness and long-term dependability. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the core mechanical layout and more about age-related wear, especially if maintenance history has been uneven.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Toyota Sequoia?

At 58.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with prior damage. After that, put inspection priority on rust, brake wear, and overall underbody condition, since age-related issues matter on this model. Focus on how the SUV has been maintained and whether the wear matches the mileage and asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Toyota Sequoia?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 167 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.99% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 58.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,351, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Toyota Sequoia's resale value?

The current average of $19,503 sits slightly below last year's $20,969.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy with less risk of immediate overpaying. For a future seller, it also means resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history rather than just model-year appeal. Well-kept examples should hold up better than average because buyers in this segment tend to value durability and utility.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Toyota Sequoia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.99% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2014 is a sensible choice if you want the Sequoia’s rugged, full-size SUV formula and you find a clean, well-maintained example at a fair price. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby model years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, history, and asking price rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
