How much does the 2014 Toyota Sequoia cost?

There are 175 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare prices and conditions.

Is the 2014 Toyota Sequoia a good car?

Generally — the 2014 Toyota Sequoia earns a 4/5 user rating, which points to solid overall satisfaction for shoppers who want a large, truck-based family SUV. The overview describes it as a three-row SUV with rugged construction, strong towing ability, and a durable, dependable character, while also noting its truck-like ride and poor fuel economy as tradeoffs. That makes it a better fit if you value utility, space, and long-term toughness more than refinement or efficiency. 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Toyota Sequoia reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview emphasizes tried-and-true hardware, rugged construction, and a reputation built on durability, all of which support confidence in used ownership. It also points to age-related concerns such as rust and brake wear, so a well-kept example matters more than a low-mileage one alone. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is ending up with a truck that has been worn down by age, corrosion, or deferred maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Toyota Sequoia?

At 57.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks for rust, brake wear, and signs of hard use. Focus on overall condition rather than just mileage, since the Sequoia’s age-related issues can matter more than the odometer reading. If possible, compare service records across multiple listings so you can separate a well-maintained SUV from one that has simply aged poorly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Toyota Sequoia?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 175 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.95% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 57.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,719, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Toyota Sequoia's resale value?

The current average of $18,719 sits slightly below last year's $21,021.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, maintenance history, and how well the SUV has aged. Well-kept examples should hold up better than neglected ones because buyers in this segment tend to reward durability and visible care.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Toyota Sequoia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 57.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.95% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should focus on the 2014 if you want a full-size SUV with strong utility, a durable reputation, and a market that currently gives you some negotiating room. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2014 remains a sensible target when you find one with clean history and strong maintenance records.
