Why it stands out
The 2014 Tesla Model S is a landmark vehicle in the electric car movement, known for its impressive performance and tech features that set the standard for electric vehicles. As one of the early models to deliver an extended driving range, it provides a luxurious interior and cutting-edge infotainment options, including a large 17-inch touchscreen that controls essential functions. Owners appreciate the car's low operating costs due to its electric nature, alongside its exhilarating acceleration that rivals traditional sports cars. Despite some concerns regarding service availability and cost, many see it as a worthwhile investment for those seeking a blend of luxury and efficiency at a reasonable price.
The Model S remains competitive against newer rivals due to its continuous software updates, ensuring that even older versions receive enhancements that keep them feeling modern. Its distinctive features, like all-wheel drive and a spacious interior designed for comfort, continue to appeal to buyers looking for a premium electric option. If this is not your primary vehicle, you will love it. If it needs services from Tesla you might have to wait a bit. Road handling and cabin is solid. That’s why overall it is a great second car or have a second car as a back up.

The car was great, everything I wanted. When it came down to it, it was a little outside my budget. But the car was outstanding. Low miles, no damage, premium leather seats, great sound system. Definitely a good buy.

Takes a while to learn all the capabilities. The car is continually improved via software downloads. The buying experience and driving experience is outstanding. Brakes should last 300,000 miles due to regenerative braking. The fuel cost (electricity) is about 25% of the gasoline cost to drive the same number of miles.
