How much does the 2014 Subaru Impreza WRX cost?

There are 264 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2014 Subaru Impreza WRX a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Subaru Impreza WRX earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview frames it as a focused performance sedan that still works for everyday use, with standard all-wheel drive and a six-speed manual transmission giving it real enthusiast appeal. It also balances that character with practical touches like Bluetooth, automatic climate control, and a navigation screen, though the ride is stiff and the cabin is not especially roomy. With 32.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive price.

Is the 2014 Subaru Impreza WRX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The overview suggests a car built around serious performance hardware and all-weather capability, which can be appealing if you want a durable-feeling enthusiast car with a clear purpose. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a performance model like this may have been driven hard, so condition and maintenance history matter more than mileage alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Subaru Impreza WRX?

At 51.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on the drivetrain, brakes, suspension, and signs of hard use, since this model is built for performance and may have been driven accordingly. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, not just the asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Subaru Impreza WRX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

If you find a listing below $13,777, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Subaru Impreza WRX's resale value?

The current average of $14,343 sits slightly above last year's $13,936.

That upward move suggests the market has held steady enough to support value, which is helpful if you plan to sell later. Because prices are already above last year’s level, a clean, well-maintained example should remain easier to market than one with questionable history or visible wear. If you buy carefully now, you improve your odds of preserving value when it’s time to move on.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Subaru Impreza WRX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 51.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.92% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

If you want a used WRX with strong enthusiast appeal, everyday usability, and a market that still shows healthy demand, the 2014 is a solid primary choice. If you’re especially price-sensitive, keep shopping for the cleanest example you can find and use the lower end of the price range as your benchmark, since condition and history matter a lot on a performance car like this.
