How much does the 2014 Porsche Cayenne cost?

Is the 2014 Porsche Cayenne a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Porsche Cayenne earns a 4.62/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its performance and handling, and many describe it as a joy to drive. The review summary also highlights the powerful V8 engine and sports car-like handling, which fits the Cayenne’s role as a performance-first luxury SUV. If you want an upscale SUV that prioritizes driving enjoyment while still serving as an all-weather daily driver, this model year lines up well with that use case. Good and great deals account for 31.3% of listings, so you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Porsche Cayenne reliable?

Owners rate it 4.62/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary points to a vehicle that owners find dependable, with little to dislike about the ownership experience. It also reflects a reputation for trouble-free use and long-term confidence among buyers who value the Cayenne’s blend of performance and polish. For used shoppers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about owner sentiment and more about making sure the specific vehicle has been maintained properly, since premium SUVs can become costly if deferred maintenance has piled up.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Porsche Cayenne?

At 67.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage or repeated claims. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a luxury SUV where repair costs can escalate quickly if something has been overlooked. Focus your condition check on maintenance records, signs of past bodywork, and overall wear that might hint at expensive ownership ahead.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Porsche Cayenne?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 313 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.37% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 67.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $15,786, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Porsche Cayenne's resale value?

The current average of $15,866 sits slightly below last year's $16,767.

That softer pricing suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy a well-kept example and preserve documentation, because condition and history will matter more when the market is already pricing in depreciation. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand, especially for shoppers drawn to the Cayenne’s performance-focused reputation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.62/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Porsche Cayenne or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 67.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.37% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.62/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the Cayenne’s performance-first character and you find a clean, well-documented 2014 example at a competitive price, this year makes a strong case as the primary choice. If you are more price-sensitive, keep shopping the broader market for the best-maintained listing rather than stretching for a newer year, since condition and history will likely matter more than model-year differences for your ownership experience.
