How much does the 2014 INFINITI Q50 cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 296 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2014 INFINITI Q50 a good car?

Yes — the 2014 INFINITI Q50 earns a 4.78/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its sporty performance, precise handling, and elegant interior. That lines up well with the Q50’s role as a luxury sedan that blends bold styling with a strong feature set and a performance-oriented feel.

You also get a car that’s positioned as a distinctive choice if you want a luxury sedan with a fresh design direction and a lot of technology. With 28.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 INFINITI Q50 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.78/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable in daily use, with sporty performance and a range of features that owners appreciate over time. The review summary also emphasizes the Q50 as a great value luxury car, which usually matters when you’re thinking about long-term ownership.

The expert evaluation reinforces that impression by describing the Q50 as a competent luxury sedan with strong performance and technology. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about the car’s appeal and more about keeping repair costs and condition in check as mileage rises.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 INFINITI Q50?

At 46.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing multiple listings at similar prices. Pay close attention to body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the car’s technology and driver-assistance features are functioning properly.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Base trim includes Bluetooth phone connectivity, dual digital control panels, an intelligent key system, satellite radio, and a reversing camera. The Premium trim adds heated front seats, a power moonroof, and a 14-speaker premium stereo, while the S trims add a sport-tuned suspension, sport bucket seats, sport brakes, and other go-fast bits.
• Powertrain: The Q50 uses a 3.7-liter V6 with 328 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive. The setup is described as quick and performance-oriented, with a 0-60 mph time of 5.3 seconds.
• Safety package: The car includes a predictive crash-warning system, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, frontal crash-prevention sensors, an overhead parking camera system, and rear cross-path warning.
• Infotainment: The Q50 uses dual touchscreens, with the top screen focused on navigation and the lower screen handling audio and climate controls. It also has a dedicated navigation control knob by the shifter.
• Fuel efficiency: The AWD Q50 is listed at 19 mpg city/27 highway/22 combined.

Which 2014 INFINITI Q50 trim should I buy?

The 2014 INFINITI Q50 is offered in 4 trim levels: Base, Premium, Q50S, and Q50S AWD.

Here's the short version:

• Base: This is the value play if you want the Q50’s core luxury and tech features without stretching your budget. You still get Bluetooth, dual digital control panels, an intelligent key system, satellite radio, and a reversing camera.
• Premium: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds heated front seats, a power moonroof, and a 14-speaker premium stereo without jumping into the sport-focused pricing of the S models.
• Q50S: Choose this if you want the sportier setup, since it adds a sport-tuned suspension, sport bucket seats, sport brakes, and other performance-oriented hardware.
• Q50S AWD: This is the right pick if you want the S trim’s sport content plus all-wheel drive for added traction.

The safety content highlights a predictive crash-warning system, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, frontal crash-prevention sensors, an overhead parking camera system, and rear cross-path warning.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 INFINITI Q50?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 28.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 296 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 46.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,207, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 INFINITI Q50's resale value?

The current average of $11,784 sits slightly below last year's $11,800.

That small decline suggests the Q50 has been holding value fairly steadily rather than swinging sharply. For a future seller, that usually means you’re dealing with a market that is predictable, but not especially fast-rising.

Because the current price is close to last year’s level, your resale outcome will likely depend more on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum. Well-kept examples should remain easier to move than neglected ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.78/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2014 INFINITI Q50 safe?

The 2014 INFINITI Q50 earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

It includes a predictive crash-warning system that can detect trouble ahead, plus blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, frontal crash-prevention sensors, an overhead parking camera system, and rear cross-path warning. That gives you a fairly robust safety tech package for the model year.

One thing to keep in mind is that the safety content emphasizes driver-assistance technology more than crash-test results, so you should focus on whether those systems are present and working properly on any used example you consider.

Should I buy a 2014 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 28.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 46.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.78/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It introduces Infiniti’s new naming, styling, and tech direction in one aggressive luxury sedan.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $12,544, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $11,784 average.
• It offers more personality, including a wider range of configurations and a more advanced tech focus.

The bottom line: If you want the lower entry price and a distinctive first-year version of the Q50’s new identity, the 2014 is the better value path. If you’re willing to pay more for a broader range of configurations and a newer model-year setup, the 2015 is the better secondary option.
