How much does the 2014 INFINITI Q50 cost?

Prices are up 1.08% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 278 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2014 INFINITI Q50 a good car?

Yes — the 2014 INFINITI Q50 earns a 4.78/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise the sporty performance, precise handling, and elegant interior. That lines up with the Q50’s role as a luxury sedan that aims to feel bold, smart, and performance-oriented. For you, that means it makes the most sense if you want a stylish daily driver with a strong feature set and a more athletic personality than many mainstream luxury sedans.

28.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2014 INFINITI Q50 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.78/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner summary points to a car that feels like a great-value luxury choice with sporty performance and a range of features. It also highlights the powerful engine, precise handling, and elegant interior, which are the kinds of traits that usually support confidence over time. The expert drive notes also emphasize the Q50’s competent performance and smart packaging, which reinforces the sense that it is built to be a satisfying long-term companion.

The main ownership risk for used buyers is that repair costs may be high, so a careful pre-purchase inspection matters.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 INFINITI Q50?

At 45% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then focus your inspection on signs of prior bodywork, uneven panel gaps, and wear that doesn’t match the mileage. Because this model is positioned as a tech-heavy luxury sedan, you should also make sure the electronics, cameras, and driver-assistance features work properly. Pay extra attention to ride quality and rear-seat comfort, since those are common owner complaints.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Base trim includes Bluetooth phone connectivity, dual digital control panels, an intelligent key system, satellite radio, and a reversing camera, while the Premium trim adds heated front seats, a power moonroof, and a 14-speaker premium stereo. The Q50S adds a sport-tuned suspension, sport bucket seats, and sport brakes, so it is the one to consider if you want the most athletic setup.
• Powertrain: The Q50 uses a 3.7-liter VQ-V6 with 328 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive. It is rated at 19 mpg city, 27 highway, and 22 combined in AWD form.
• Safety package: The safety suite includes a crash-predicting radar system, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, frontal crash-prevention sensors, an overhead parking camera system, and rear cross-path warning. These features are part of what makes the Q50 feel especially tech-forward.
• Infotainment: The Q50 uses dual touchscreens, with the top screen dedicated mostly to navigation and the lower screen handling audio and climate controls. It also has a dedicated navigation control knob by the shifter.
• Fuel efficiency: The AWD model is listed at 19 mpg city, 27 highway, and 22 combined.

Which 2014 INFINITI Q50 trim should I buy?

The 2014 INFINITI Q50 is offered in 4 trim levels: Base, Premium, Q50S, Q50S AWD.

Here's the short version:

• Base: This is the value play if you want the Q50’s core luxury and tech experience without stretching the budget. You still get Bluetooth phone connectivity, dual digital control panels, an intelligent key system, satellite radio, and a reversing camera.
• Premium: This is the best-value trim if you want the most useful comfort upgrades for everyday driving. Heated front seats, a power moonroof, and a 14-speaker premium stereo make it feel more complete without jumping all the way to the sportier models.
• Q50S: Choose this if you want the sportiest rear-drive setup and the most aggressive chassis tuning. The sport-tuned suspension, sport bucket seats, and sport brakes give it a more focused personality.
• Q50S AWD: Pick this if you want the Q50S character with all-weather traction. It keeps the sport-oriented hardware while adding all-wheel drive.

The safety package is especially notable because the Q50 includes a crash-predicting radar system, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, frontal crash-prevention sensors, an overhead parking camera system, and rear cross-path warning.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 INFINITI Q50?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 28.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 278 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.08% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 45.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,203, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 INFINITI Q50's resale value?

The current average of $11,629 sits slightly above last year's $11,505.

That modest increase suggests the Q50 has held value reasonably well for a used luxury sedan. For a future seller, that means pricing should remain supported as long as the car is clean, well maintained, and equipped with the features buyers expect. The model’s strong mix of style, performance, and technology helps keep it relevant in the used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.78/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2014 INFINITI Q50 safe?

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The safety suite includes a crash-predicting radar system, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, frontal crash-prevention sensors, an overhead parking camera system, and rear cross-path warning. That gives you a broad set of driver-assistance tools for a car of this age, especially if you value parking help and lane-change awareness.

The main caveat is that the Q50’s safety tech is a major selling point, so you should verify that every system works correctly on a used example.

Should I buy a 2014 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 28.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 45% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.08% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.78/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2014 introduces Infiniti’s new naming, styling, and tech direction in one aggressive luxury sedan.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $12,647, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $11,629 average.
• It offers a wider range of personalities, from comfortable all-weather driving to a fast sports-sedan setup.

The bottom line: If you want the lower-priced entry point with strong owner satisfaction and a distinctive first-year identity, the 2014 is the better buy. If you’re willing to spend more for broader configuration flexibility, the 2015 is the better alternative. For price-sensitive shoppers, the 2014 remains the smarter starting point.
